The charmander grinned. <That's just 'cause we're awesome.> He said, nodding entusiastically. Dmitriy would agree, so why not?

~Your Species on whole?~ Walnut asked, ~I'd say my Type beats yours anyday, shorty~ he said with a sly grin, stomping forwards and spying a curious object not far away...

((x3 Doesn't matter to me.))
Bane blinked, <Maybe you're a better type, but eventually, you'll see.> He held his head up, glancing around for something to do.

{This is the Route with the Tree. X3 Don't confuse me. Go thar nao. }
Walnut snickered, ~I doubt that, flame-boy.~ His hide would be resistent to all but a simple few of Bane's attacks. And he, naturally, knew he would learn better moves to combat the Charmander. Or, whatever he was when the time came for a rematch. ~...? What's that?~ the Cranidos was staring at an odd tree-like structure.

Suddenly, Dmitriy's bag rustled, bring with the noise a strange growing heat in the bag. It was the green egg inside, and it was ready to erupt! [/center]

Dmitriy bolted up right, looking around frantically to see that he was alone. Where was Bane? Walnut? His hand fell to his waste. He still had Kio and Kiz.. but.. where was everyone else? Vaguely he remembered Bane asking to go explore on his own. Dmitriy frowned, but this did relieve him a little. What had woken him anyways? His bag.. it had shook.. but.. The egg! His hand shot towards the bag, opening the flap and dragging it towards him, not bothering to retrieve the cracking egg from the inside. He watched, eyebrows narrowing as if focus would help it hatch quicker.

The egg continue to fumble and rock violently, its product trying desperately to be free of its container. It stopped for a moment, as if catching his breath again, and with one huge momentous push, a Pokemon shot out from the trainer's backpack and onto his face. Your egg hatched! Dmitriy stared at the baby pokemon, not quite sure what to do now that it hatched. Did he need to put it in a pokeball? He lifted a shard of egg, peaking under it to find a lack of included pokeball. He would have to ask Walnut since the pokemon seemed to know more about trainer activities than he did. Glancing to his left, ready to wake the sleeping pokemon, he realized neither Bane or Walnut were near him. Vaguely, he remembered his fire lizard asking to go on his own little adventure. Dmitriy shrugged, not knowing exactly what he was supposed to do now that his main pokemon was gone..
Bane lead the way to his trainer, wondering how she managed to remember which way they came. She glanced back to look at the Chikorita, wondering if the grass type would be able to find her way back. "I think we're close." The charmander said, tilting her head to the side as if to notice more landmarks she might remember, failing to do so and hoping they were indeed going the right direction.

Walnut trotted alongside the reptile, chuckling to himself. ~Yes, we're close.~ he murmured, hopping ahead to see the Houndoom with... Some sort of strange, radio-active monkey. Never underestimate Trainers, he guessed, rolling his shoulders in a shrug.
The Wild Chikorita blinked, following after the Charmander. ~So, what, do you have a homing device attached to him?~

<Haha. I wish, it'd be easier.> She said, looking ahead to see her trainer with a Chimchar in his lap, <While I'm at it I'd like some sort of pokemon radar. Leave him alone and come back to some strangely colored pokemon with him.> She was close now and lifted her arm to wave at the morph who grinned to see they were back. "Right on time. The egg hatched and I don't know what to do with it." Dmitriy stated, looking at the tiny pokemon perched on his knee.

The Chikorita blinked, stopped at least three feet away from the group to study them. ~It hatched?~ the Cranidos yawned, looking at the neon green Pokemon. ~Looks like it shot out of a Rhydon's nose.~ he commented, tilting his head.

<You look like you were shot out of a Rhydon's butt.> The Chimchar said, placing her hands on her hips and staring at Walnut. She had no idea what a Rhydon was but if it had a nose it had a butt. Dmitriy stared at the little green pokemon, clearly surprised that something like that would come out of a baby's mouth. <I am hungry. Got any food?> She leaped off of Dmitriy's knee, not bothering for a reply and started rummaging through his bag until she came up with an Oran Berry and started nibbling on it. Dmitriy stared at the baby pokemon, then at the older pokemon around him, eyes wide as if expecting them to do something about it.

Walnut grinned, certain she had no idea what Rhydon was. ~Your shaping up to a be a great parent, Trainer.~ the Cranidos offered, sitting and tilting his head at Bane. ~Oh, hey. Don't you want to introduce your friend?~ The Chikorita tilted her head, confused. She'd never thought trainer's were like this. She assumed they were all... Serious and stuff.

<Yeah..> Bane said, making a large arch around the baby pokemon and standing next to her trainer. She then guestured for the Chikorita to come over, noticing the grass pokemon was by herself. <This is a Chikorita I met in a weird underground battle arena.. thing.> Bane said, struggling to come up with more appropriate words and failing, <She beat me and wanted to come with us to meet you and.. stuff.> Officially deciding she sounded like an idiot, she cut herself short and waited for a reaction. Dmitriy grinned, <You were beat by a grass type.> That, actually, was the first thing that came to his head. Grinning more as Bane glowered at him, he looked at the new pokemon, <Don't feel too proud, we haven't gotten to train much since we started. You wouldn't be able to beat Bane another week or two from now.> At this Bane's glare turned into a smug and she nodded. <Especially not when I get those fire moves.>

At this, the silent Chikorita puffed out her chest. ~Please.~ she shot, ~A Type advantage does not always win you the battle.~ she said it matter-of-factly, holding her head high. ~Sure. But it helps.~ Walnut said with a yawn, turning his head to look at the sky, ~Not to mention you'd have to have some real skills to be able to overcome such a big weakness as Fire.~ a subtle jab, sure, but it worked. ~Anyway,~ he peered at the Chimchar, ~I figure this Trainer has enough to worry about. Level one is even harder to start with then his own starter. Can't be babysitting too many now.~ The Chikorita huffed, ~I don't need a baby-sitter! Looks like you guys need me to watch you.~
