"Oh, no, we're not falling for that. Sheilds, pursue him." the lion kit dashed forward again, aiming to weave around the first one's friend in order to Tackle the bigger one again. He had to be close...They had to be nearly there with this one. Ardeo had to admit, he hadn't given Electric-types much credit; But they were speedy, and pretty strong too. A fine combo, and a pretty good Type. Obviously, Fire was much better.

The first charmander leaped out of the way, rolling to the side, thinking the pokemon was after him. When he realized the Shinx was going after his partner, however, he gave chase. It was too late, and the small blue and yellow pokemon smacked into the leader, throwing him up against the tombstone. He was passed out. The charmander leaped at the exposed back of the enemy pokemon, shreaking things to the point where they could no longer be distinguished as words. If they were words, however, one could assume they weren't very nice.

Shields barely had a second to sniff in pride before he felt himself get viciously slashed by the abnormal claws of the enemy Charmander. He rolled a little ways away from the Fire-type, getting up slowly, dirty and just a little hurt. "Mrrrya..." he shook himself, eyes narrowed. He confidence had risen with the defeat of the other 'Mander, at least. "Great! Go on, take that other Charmander down, buddy!" with those words, the Shinx rocketed forward again.

The charmander backed away from the charging pokemon sending a full blast of fire at the other's face before rolling off to the side. He wished, now, he had Smokescreen. He growled as he rolled, eyes screwed shut in panic. This was no how this battle was supposed to go.

A hiss of pain went up as the embers flew into Shields' eyes, causing him to halt and paw at his face in pain and panic. He didn't like the thought of being blind...But the hot, stinging Embers were cleared, leaving his eyes to water and twitch in the searing aftermath. ~Ooow...~ he kept pawing at his eyes, tail thrashing in agitation. "C'mon, Shields. We got this. Give'm a Tackle when your ready." the kitten shook his head, and kept one eye closed (that one stung considerably more than the other), before tottering after the Charmander.

The charmander took the weakened blind moment from the foe, bouncing forward with large leaps. When he got close enough he lunged into the air, diving down and hoping to scratch the same spot he had managed to get before.
The ghost pokemon above had grown steadily quieter, watching intently for the battle that had turned tables so quickly.

The Shinx let his one good eye widen in horror when he saw that maroon form of the Charmander bearing down on him, slashing across his back. A warm liquid began to coat him, bleeding sluggishly. He winced, but since the opponent was closer, zoomed forward to Tackle anew. The movement stretched his wounds, though, allowing the blood to flow a little faster.

The charmander was hit by the tackled, stumbling back. His claws felt wet and crusty from the blood now dripping from his opponent. He blew another ember, leaping back. He was weakened as well and he knew if she stuck around too much longer fighting this pokemon, he would be in the same state as his partner

Shields panted, whining some as the flames battered against his body. He couldn't take this much more, but...He was going to take this lizard down. He stumbled a few steps, before gaining a steadier grip on the earth and charging forward- trying to pour every ounce of strength he had into it.

The attack smacked into the charmander's ribs, knocking him aside and into the ground. This was how he stayed. The Growlith and Wooper watched with great interest now, knowing the fight was over. One by one, the ghosts above faded out, not even bothering to help the fallen pokemon as they left. There was an ashamed look on each of their faces, as if they lost a very personal battle.

"Aha! Shields, awesome job buddy!" the blue kitten turned, smiling broadly. "C'mere, I found a Super Potion a ways back. I'll use it now." the Shinx tottered over, feeling a sting as his Trainer sprayed his worse wound, and then a cool numbness. His fur was still matted with blood, but the wound itself was gone, and he was feeling much more awake now. ~Who're they?~ he mewled, blinking in surprise at the three Pokemon he had just noticed. "One sec!" Ardeo murmured with a grin, walking over to the fallen Charmanders with a smug look, "If either of you are still conscience, do you want to come with me? Or will I have to just throw and hope to Arceus the ball catches?" he had it in his head that these Fire-types were simply under some sort of hypnotic effect, and were more or lessed forced to fight. If not, well, he had a Poke'ball. And he considered himself to be very lucky, despite having his Pokemon stolen from him twice.

Neither of them moved. Neither of them spoke. Granted it was against their code of honor to speak to their enemies, so even if they were conscious, they would not negotiate any of this with the trainer.

"Fantastic." he said with a grin, taking the single Poke'ball he had with him and lobbing it at one of them. Shields blinked at this action, his Trainer was way over the top for Fire-types. How many Charmanders did he need, anyway? Sheesh...

The ball enclosed the youngest of the two charmanders, shaking violently three times before sitting in teh ground, unmoving. Name; [None] Gender; Male Level; 8 Species; Charmander Personality; Previously hired by tricky ghost pokemon to fight against trainers and pokemon for their amusement, this charmander has grown to be a fierce fighter. He has a hard time fighting without orders, however.

Ardeo picked the capsule up, staring at the raptor-like Charmander resting inside with a smile. "I wish I had an extra ball for you. If your related, I'm almost sorry. But it's what you get for picking on lost people, you know." he turned back to his group of friend, clipping the new addition onto his belt, "Shields, this is Growlithe, Wooper and Psyduck. They've been helping me out through this mess." the Shinx narrowed an eye, and offered a small smile, ~Well, thank you. And, it's nice to meet you three.~
