The Sentret and the Machop tagged along as well, both staring at their fallen friend with clear grief. Schizo looked at the ground, shifting his paws through some dirt while Zombie glanced at her wounds, taking into account the humungous risk she had taken to save a human and her Pokemon. He looked thoughtful as he peered at the people around him.
But once the word “freak” was uttered, the two Pokemon suddenly stiffened and lost their manageable attitudes. The Sentret’s eyes grew large and glistened with a pent-up anger, while the Machop stared at the Absol, his deathly pallor suddenly seeming rather frightening. <Excuse me?> he spoke rather quickly, standing up straighter. He was about to take action when Schizo leapt forward and waddled up to Carlyle’s face intrusively. <Hey!> he squeaked loudly, almost burning the Absol’s face with a flicker of fire that emerged from his lips. <You oughta keep to yourself, buddy, ‘cause if I hear you say crap like that again I’ll pound you- pound ya into the ground, and- and don’t think I’m your buddy or something ‘cause I’m not!> His rant ended there, mainly because his friend had tugged on his tail to tell him to stop. But, the Machop had not dragged him back like he usually would’ve done, and instead stood next to the Sentret bitterly.

Sulteron took a step back from Schizo as he looked ready to kill once the word 'freak' was uttered. Phew, that Sentret had some temper troubles. She knew how strange it was to have a female Mothim, an odd looking Sentret and a Machop with not much feeling, but she hadn't commented. After all, it was unusual to see an Espeon girl, wasn't it?
However, she couldn't help but agree with the trainer on something. As much as Schizo and Zombie might dislike it, they had to get Rawnie to a Pokémon Centre; it was her best chance, since they had no Revives. "Help me lift her, guys." she said to Lana and her brother, positioning herself by Rawnie's head.

Carlyle stood stock-still, wide-eyed with a mixture of surprise, annoyance, disbelief, and even a bit of curiosity.
Normally, the Absol would have returned Schizo's tongue-lashing, and perhaps even a bite to show him who was really boss around here. But, surprisingly, he stayed silent. Not even a growl or sneer. Eventually the shock died down, but Carlyle merely turned around, and paced back to Aarin's side, avoiding having to look at the Machop and Schizo.
Lana nodded, no longer as enthusiastic. Her brother hang back, not even stepping forward to help. It was clear he was leaving things to Lana. She bent down across from Sulteron, sliding her hands underneath Rawnie's dusty wings. She looked up at the Espeon girl, and said- "On three?"
As she did so, Cioux ran up and leaped onto her right shoulder, watching curiously. A small smile appeared on her trainer's face- somehow, after having spent time with this trainer, he'd become less shy. This was about the most contact he'd made with Lana so far, this simple gesture. But it was impressive, for the meek pokemon he was. At least, the meek pokemon he had been when she first got him. Schizo's ears crumpled down and his back becamed, looking at Zombie in a crouched, vulnerable position. He gave him a wide-eyed, almost sad look and clicked his front claws together nervously. <Agh, jeez. I really yell a lot, don't I? Ahh. I'm a horrible Sentret. I'm not even a full blooded Sentret, oooh why me..> He broke off in a whine, and if he had the ability to, he would probably start crying. The Pokemon, suddenly feeling awful, buried his face into the Machop and gave him a big hug.
The Machop bended away from his outstretched, gnarly claws at first, but he finally gave him and gave Schizo a solid pat on the back. He looked at the humans while standing stiffly in his hug. <He does this often,> Zombie said over the Sentret's awful wailing.
The Machop kept his gaze on Rawnie as Lana slipped her hand under her wing, and he nearly pushed himself out of Schizo's hug in a involuntary reflex to defend himself and his friends. Shifting comfortably, he watched Sulteron expectantly

Sulteron watched as Schizo started wailing. The Sentret seemed to have some sort of disorder- multiple personality disorder, most likely. She knew that the Pokémon was an odd one, prone to random bursts of emotion, but he'd kind of grown on her. In fact, thinking about it, all of these Pokémon were strange. The aptly named Zombie, the odd looking Schizo, the female Mothim... had they escaped from a laboratory or something? She was too polite to ask, although she was immensly curious.
As Lana counted to three, Sulteron lifted Rawnie. The Mothim was slowly raised into the air, and the Espeon Pokémorph did her best to try and keep her steady so not to harm her. She began to walk slowly, still keeping Rawnie steady as best as she could, towards the next town.
