At the sound of the Cyndaquil directly speaking to them, creatures hissed and gurgled more and oddly fell silent. It was not too long after, however, that something leaped through a hole on the side of a wall, barging its way out from underneath the mattress. A horde of Spinarak now was crawling around the room, sending string shots like bezerk without aim, but still making a mess.
The last one to come out, the sixth enemy to arrive was an Ariados, boldly standing as his comrades attacked wildly. Suddenly he shot a face as poisonous as venom towards the trainer and the accompanying Pokemon, a Scary Face hoping to stop them in their tracks.
(( Spinaraks are Level 4; Ariados is Level 8. Good luck! ))

Sulteron watched, with a little amazement, as the six spiders emerged from the shadows. She had six Pokemon, so she supposed it would have to be two three-on-three battles. She looked on the bright side of this encounter; there was plenty of experiance for her Pokemon here, and maybe an Ariados if she managed to catch it. "Chia, Alice and Abe and George, go for three Spinerak first. When yoou've gained experiance by defeating them, we'll go on to the next two and Ariados."
Each of her Pokemon positioned themselves in front of a Spinerak. Alice, being at double the level of these bugs, was not fearful. The Doduo's heads exchanged glances before looking at their opponent. Chia tried to make himself as menacing as possible, only succeeding in looking even cuter. "Alright! Alice, Bite, Abe and George, Peck, Chia, Tackle!" they all heard the shout from their trainer and all obeyed at the same time. Alice launched her huge, powerful jaws at her opponent. Abe and George, after a little quarrel, both bobbed their heads in a sharp stabbing motion. Chia raced forward.

Though the Scary Face seemed to have no effect on Sulteron and her pokemon, it certainly did on Cioux. <Urk...>
He paused for a moment, whimpering at the sight of those scary spider eyes, before shaking it off. Sulteron has been kind to me thus far... he thought, I might as well help her out in return.
At that, he hopped off of his chair, facing one of the nearby spinarak. He sure as heck wouldn't get near the big one, and at least these were weak enough for him to take down. (Hopefully.) He waited, letting the spider pokemon take the first move, due to his now lowered speed.

Each Spinarak was shuffling around each opponent slowly, for they weren’t too fast. Only one fought each of Sulteron’s pokemon; with a hiss, the Ariados commanded the two remaining spiders to gang up on the lone, slowed down Riolu. Those two didn’t move much, but they were obviously still threatening in a pair.
Chia’s fighter was partically nervous with his battle, seeing the rising flames on its back as one of the most frightening things it ever had seen. As the Fire-type shot forward, the Bug-type stumbled back in fright, allowing the Cyndaquil to send a dead on tackle on his body. Wobbling back up, the Spinarak spun around and shot a Poison Shot at Chia. The one Alice faced glared determinedly as the Trapinch shot forward. Her teeth clenched her green body as she screeched in pain, her life diminishing quickly from her body. Still hanging on, she fought back with a Poison Shot tinged with the pain she had just received. Abe and George had a quick one, feinting to the left as they shot down with a frightful Peck. Relishing in his maneuver, it shot a Poison Shot as they still had their heads close to the ground.
The two in front of Cioux giggled wickedly as both followed with the same attack as the others; it was the only attack they all knew.
The Ariados, watching his team carefully, moved cautiously near the pack of Sulteron’s fighters and distorted its face in another Scary Face attack.

Chia, Alice and Abe and George all flinched as the Scary Face filled them with an unexplainable fear. Sulteron as having a little trouble herself, for keeping track of three battles at once wasn't the easiest of jobs. She watched how each seemed fairly effective. "Use the same again!" she cried.
Chia as hoping his Spinerak would go down quickly so he could go after the big Ariados. He winced in pain as the Spinerak's attack hit. Although the attacker was scared and the attack was therefore weaker than usual, it still hurt, thanks to the Scary Face Chia had just enjured. He snarled, padding backward a bit to gain more ground and so more speed, then launched himself at his foe again.
Alice couldn't help but cry out as her opponent's desperate attack pierced her thick hide. Instincively she let go of the source of the pain. She stood, gasping for breath for a moment before she reached in to take another Bite.
Abe and George were hit by the Poison Shot as well. Naturally, they blamed it on each other. Abe nipped George. ~Stop letting attacks hit!~ George frowned, then pecked Abe's feathers. <You're the one letting them hit, moron!> and so on, until they both came to their senses and lunged forward with a Peck.

Cioux was no longer paying attention to the ariados, and it's scary face attack failed. Instead, he was faced by the two most evil-looking of the bunch, and though possibly not the strongest, they certainly gave him the creeps.
<Y-yipe!>
He staggered back, throwing up an arm to block his face from the the upcoming attack. The poisoned needles stung his skin, but luckily enough, he wasn't badly poisoned. So, he rushed forward at one of the two, a silver streak of light forming behind him, as he attempted to crash into one spider, make a sharp turn, and then crash into the other.

The Cyndaquil’s Spinarak made sure he didn’t fall victim again in Chia’s moment of speed recovery, so it sucked up its courage and leaped forward, hoping with all its strength that it would stick to the wall in front. From there, it would have much advantage in this battle. However, it forgot to bring in the rising flame on Chia’s back into the equation. Catching on fire, the spider smacked into the wall, falling on the ground and gurgling horribly as it tried to extinguish the flames. It finally did, but not before passing out, covered in black ash.
Chia earns two levels!
The Trapinch’s turn around shocked her opponent, and freezing up, the Bite attack hitting her hard enough to make her pass out. Before she went, though, she muttered in a strangely satisfying way, <Oh.. Here comes sleep..>
Alice earns a level!
<Augh!> cried Abe and George’s target as a painful peck surged through its body. Feeling quite crippled by the Doduo’s beak, it barely had the strength to shoot a Poison Shot again.
Seeing two of his comrades go down, the Araidos swiftly took action. Determining Alice as a safer target than Chia, it bounced forward with strong legs and let a wave of stringy web shoot towards her, planning to constrict her body.
Laughter turned into shrieking as the Riolu leapt forward with breakneck speed. It managed to slam both of them down, and in their moment of recovery, they looked at each other with anger in their faces and sent out another shot of poison for Cioux.

Chia and Alice celebrated their victory with a wave of happy dances and the like. Unfortunately, this meant they left their gaurd down, and so weren't celebrating for long. Chia could see Ariados coming up behind Alice's back, and gave a frightened squeal of warning, but it was too late. Now it was Alice's turn to squeal as she was entangled in the sticky web. It held fast to her thick shell, and however much she struggled she could not get free.
Sulteron watched this with annoyance and anger for the spider. Poor Alice... she should be free. Noticing that Abe and George had excluded their opponent from their fight, she sighed. "Abe, George, why can't you work together for once? Come on, Peck! And Alice, try using your Bite to get out. Chia, help protect her and try to defeat Ariados! Tackle!" she cried.
While Abe and George struggled not to make rude comments about each other as they attacked, the Cyndaquil and Trapinch began to obey. The more Alice struggled, the more stuck she got. Even her powerful jaws did nothing to break her prison. Chia saw this and thought he could at least do what his trainer had told him; protect Alice while she could not protect herself. He charged at Ariados in a Tackle.

Cioux had no time to watch for what the other pokemon were doing- the two pokemon facing him were beginning to get a bit out of hand. He jumped out of the way of both poison attacks, and glowered at them from back atop his chair.
His red eyes began to glow, as he locked on to his target, so his next move was sure to hit. Eyes glued to the spinarak on ihs left, he leaped forward, for yet another quick attack.

The Doduo's Spinarak had now frozen up, afraid of the impending doom that awaited him. He watched with fear as they rose from their own battle and planted a painful peck right on his back. The spider stumbled afterward, but fell victim to the Doduo and collapsed on the ground unconscious.
Abe and George earned a level!
As Sulteron sent out her commands, the Ariados quickly glanced around the room. He saw the Spinarak scared out of his wits; and over at the Riolu, another one was falling to its defeat while the other watched apparently shocked.
Cioux earns a level!
The other would fall quickly, he noted. At last he looked at a small rectangular window up near a corner in the room. He had been looking at it the whole battle.. But, enough with worrying, the Ariados turned his attention back towards the battle. The Cyndaquil was already racing towards him, and his insect heart skipped a beat. He rushed back, realizing he hadn't moved from Alice, and was rolled over by Chia's Tackle. But he didn't land on his back; instead he kept rolling and landed back on his feet. Looking agravated, the Ariados did not think through his plan of action for once and leapt at Chia with a Bug Bite.

Chia gave a frightened squeal as the scary looking Ariados loomed over him, pinser-like mouth opened to attack. Bug Bite was a fairly powerful move. At least Chia wasn't holding a berry, because then Ariados would have eaten it and experienced it's healing effects. The Bug Bite bit down on the emerald Cyndaquil's body, and he couldn't help but let out a pained cry.
Alice was struggling still, even though it was useless. At least Chia was holding off that big spider of a bully until she was freed again. Oh, it was scary being tied up like this. So very, very, frightening. She felt so helpless. But then again, it was an adventure. They'd get through all right. They always would. They'd get stronger, too. They had to!
Abe and George briefly celebrated their victory, then turned to the final Spinerak. This was the only one left, right? Well, apart from the creepy looking evolved form, of course. Still, they thought they should help out by eliminating the competition. The previous four Spinerak had fallen fairly easily, so this one should be a breeze. Sort of. Moving of their own acord, the Doduo ran forward at the flightless Flying type's great speed, lowering both beaks for a Peck.
Sulteron grimaced. Chia was being hurt by the Bug Bite, and at level 7, Cyndaquil didn't know any offensive moves other than Tackle. But... the TM. Of course! The TM she had been given for Christmas along with the scale! She had used them both on Chia, so now he knew Overheat! "Chia, use the TM move I tought you! Overheat!" Sulteron grinned. Things were about to be turned around, hopefully.
Chia grinned back from within Ariados' painful jaws. Overheat lowered his Attack power by two after use, but for something with that amount of attack power, it was worth it. As a bons, it would almost definately hit, because he was held in the spider's jaws. Squeezing his eyes tightly shut, Chia's pale green flames grew larger and hotter, barely noticable at first, then all of a sudden, with a roar, the Cyndaquil's back flame flared up and reached painful temperatures.

Cioux stepped back, allowing Abe and George to tke care of his other opponent. His eyes swept over the room, and he relaxed the tiniest bit. So, this was the last one, as well as the Ariados.
It looked like Chia and the large spider were fairly well matched. Ariados was quick, not to mention evolved, but the odd colored Cyndaquil also had the type advantage, and one devistating trick up his sleeve.
When Chia's flames suddenly grew to nearly thrice their size, Cioux leaped back, startled. Suddenly, though, he had an idea.
He didn't want to wait for Abe and George to take down the little green one. Cioux didn't want to take any chances- he'd had enough of these bugs. After the Doduo had finished with their attack, he took his chance. Grabbing the spinerak by two of it's thin legs, he flung it into Chia's blaze, streight into the middle of the attack.

The Spinarak was in denial, the way this battle was turning out. He saw all of his comrades go down, and with the build of heat rising in the air, it wasn’t a hard guess that the Fire-type had something up his sleeve. No! he thought. No, I must believe in Araidos! He’s our only hope! Nothing good comes out of sulking.. And even as the Doduo flew towards him with a speed that he could never match, he still stayed triumphant. We’ll win! We’ll.. The Spider was knocked unconscious the minute beak and body collided.
Abe and George earn another level! (Soz Cioux, you were too late.)
A few seconds prior to the Spinarak’s defeat, the Aradios felt a surge of revenge for merely a moment. For only a second, the battle seemed to be heading towards his advantage for once, and it wasn’t until Chia began to summon a powerful rage of fire that maybe the spider would’ve thought twice about his impulse lunge into battle. The Araidos started up in a hiss before a wave of fire surrounded his body.
Immediately, the bug was shot behind him in the other direction, his motionless body tumbling through the flames. The finished Spinarak was tossed into the flaming finish as well, the Spinarak facing the same fate of his leader. Once the orange and red finally extinguished itself, their charred remains laid quietly on the ground.
Chia earns another level as well!
Even with the entire room cleared of its enemies, the battle was not over yet. A thumping sound earlier cancelled out by the bellowing fire was now apparent, and following the source of noise it seemed to come from a small window in the corner of the room. The shadows behind it seemed to be trying to break through, and the longer it was let to knock at the window, the less likely the glass would separate what was on the outside into the inside…

The web holding the struggling Alice loosened at last. The threesome celebrated, and Sulteron took out a Pokéball, ready to throw it, but their celebration was short-lived. The thumping sound sent a shiver down four spines. Sulteron remembered the Pokéball she'd recieved from the random generator at the easter carnival, and released the Flareon inside. Fayo heared the sound, and looked worreidly at his trainer.
Chia was brave enough to step toward the window. The sparkling emerald flames on his back were burning low as the Cyndaquil let out a low moan of fear, then rushed back to his trainer. Sulteron called out in a shaking voice. "W-who are you? W-what are you?"
Fayo whimpered, then padded cautiously forward, putting one paw carefully in front of the other. The fox's fluffy tail swished from side to side, brushing the ground as it did so. Fayo was almost close enough to leap to the windowsill and look around, but then a huge crack snaked it's way across the surface of the glass, and the Flareon cried out and ran back to his trainer, not taking his eyes off the window as Sulteron bent down to comfort him. They all watched with fearful interest.

Cioux, though dissapointed he'd been a bit too late in his attack, soon forgot his dissapointment as a frightning sound came from the direction of the window. Immidiately, He leaped to hide alongside the other pokemon, behind Sulteron's legs, clutching at her calves nervously. He too, was fearful to investigate whatever was outside. He rarely ever wished to be a lucario, but now he did- he would be able to tell whether or not their opponent was something to be weary of. Instead his own nervous aura branched out, telling every mind around him of his unease- while his evolved form read other's aura, Riolu had a tendancy of having others read their aura, whether they liked it or not.
Waiting intenly for the glass to give in and shatter, every one of the puppy's muscles tensed.
