"Oh, oh! That's me, I'm coming with you!" Akihiko popped out from the mass of surskits, beaming. "I'm Akihiko! Right, Raikeene...? I'm going with him, right?" the Surskit looked to the Masquerain eagerly, and the newly dubbed Raikeene nodded. "Yes, of course.""YAY!" Akihiko jumped up, landing on all four of his little surskit feet. "So do I go in a pokeball or something?" he asked, staring up at Aron questioningly, and then looking at the Ralts. "And I guess I'm gonna be your friend now too!" he added, happy that he would have another pokemon to travel with. Name: Akihiko Level: 4 Gender: Male Attacks: Bubble Personality: Rather energetic and accepting. He's got a really good...um, head on his shoulders...? Well, you know what I mean. Akihiko loves his name and happily tells it to anyone he meets, and as for battling, he wants to learn as much as possible to help out his trainer. ((You can roleplay him now. :3 ))

<Yeah. Kalil, get a pokeball out of my bag, would you?> While his pokemon obeyed, Aron continued. <I think it'd be better if you go in your ball for a bit, because this landscape would be hard for a Surskit to walk on, since it's very dry where we'll be heading. Don't worry though, next rest spot we take I'll let you-> He watched as the surskit suddenly disappeared in a pre-mature ball thrown by his Ralts. When he looked at the pokemon after the ball gave a small beep of acceptance, his pokemon just shrugged. Rolling his eyes, Aron waved to the group. <Alright. I guess I'll be seeing you later. I'll make sure if I come this way again to stop here!> His very impatient pokemon was already rather far off, teleporting away from him quickly so he'd get the point <BYE!> He shouted over his shoulder and bolted after his pokemon, pokeball in his hand for Akihiko.

(( Allow me to powerplay here for a moment. XD ))
It was pretty peaceful all throughout the path for the most part- no pokemon showed up, and the sun moved slowly but surely through the sky, which was clear blue for the most part. Fluffy clouds floated past here and there, spotting the landscape with large splotches of shadow and sun. As Aron and Kalil came closer to a narrower part in the path, however, a few whispers of sounds could be heard. Suddenly, three pokemon- completely black pokemon- jumped out of the trees and snatched Aron and Kalil. They were obviously large pokemon, easily pulling the trainer and his pokemon off into the trees, covering their mouths as they did so, like skilled assasins of some sort. However, they didn't kill the trainer and his pokemon- simply tied them up against trees with large pieces of rope that they wrapped around Aron and Kalil's stomachs several times before tying a knot against a large aspen tree. Then three pokemon laughed heartily and then came in front of the boy and the ralts- ithey were quite small, oddly- and suddenly pulled off the large pieces of black cloth they'd been wearing.
Surprisingly, it was simply a Chikorita, a Cyndaquil, and a Totodile. They looked up at the trainer and his pokemon happily and exchanged smug glances, and then dawdled quietly in the awkward silence. <So...now what?> The Totodile squawked, breaking the quiet and looked expectantly up at Aron, as if he knew what should have happened next.
(( xD I know it's strange but I wanted to do something different, haha. ))

Both trainer and pokemon were caught completely off guard, being dragged up into a tree and tied. Aron let out a surprised yell while the Ralts went surprisingly very quiet. They both, however, squirmed once it was too late and the ropes were already holding them fast to the tree. Aron felt little tree bits in his shirt and he squirmed to get them out, watching the tree pokemon strangely. When they removed their coverings, he shook his head, relieved. He was, surprisingly, not worried in the least. Pokemon. What could they do to him anyways? After the question was asked, both pokemon and trainer stared at them quietly. <So, let me get this straight. You tied me up to ask me what you should do with me? Do you think I know?> He said, now rather annoyed.

The three pokemon exchanged glances, looking up at Dmitriy quietly. Finally the Chikorita stepped up, a squeaky voice coming out of it. <Well, you see, Mr. Trainer-sir-person, we promised our friends we'd catch a human, but uh...Well it wasn't that easy, so they all gave up on us. Anyways, we kept trying so now we finally have one but they're all gone but we dunno what to do and like gah!> The Totodile nodded eagerly in agreement with the Chikorita, and the Cyndaquil seemed to have some sort of gloom going on in the corner. <Yo Cyndi! What's wrong?> the Totodile squawked, poking the fire pokemon, which immediately flared up and then went back to it's depression. <Don't worry about Cyndi. She goes through moodswings.> the Totodile whispered to the trainer, hanging off of his clothing before jumping back down. The Cyndaquil freaked. <I DON'T GO THROUGH MOODSWINGS.> she yelled, and then suddenly teared up and started balling. <Told you.> the Totodile added, cracking up. <Most of the time she's acting, so no worries. And by the way, we were looking for an answer from you, as our hostage...What'll it be? Three choices: Boiled in oil, feed you to the Ursarings, or community service.> The Totodile waited for an answer. One might have expected it to laugh and joke and say it's "kidding", but it kept a completely straight face as it stared up at Aron. The Chikorita, however, stared in horror. <You're joking, right Toto? You're always joking when you say stuff like that.> The Totodile's expression stopped and it turned to the Chikorita with a bored expression. <Thanks for that.> It was an interesting group of pokemon, that was for sure, but it seemed nothing had happened that would let Aron get out...

Kalil frowned at the logic, and his trainer just shook his head, listening to the Chikorita but thinking in his head how insane they all were. It was only when the Cyndaquil had a mini temper tantrum did he jump, eyes widening as she screamed at them. 'Pokemon PMS? Was that possible?' He thought, and both him and his pokemon chuckled silently. He listened as they gave the choices, not feeling worried about any of them except maybe the Ursaring one. That was the only one that the pokemon could probably produce. He tried to probe through their brains, but nothing good came out. He just assumed they were kidding, and when they stopped talking he most mostly sure. However, taking it into consideration, he still came up with one. "Hmmm... I'll take the oil" He said, nodding and trying to avoid the smile that touched the sides of his mouth.

The Totodile smirked, happy that Aron nad seemingly 'fallen for his plan'. Standing up tall, the Totodile's small blue paws were placed on his hips and he stared at the Chikorita and the Cyndaquil proudly. <It's finally our day to shine. CHIKO! Get the oil.> the Totodile drawled evilly, bringing up his claws and wringing them together happily. The Chikorita blinked, staring at Toto in shock. <B-but-but Toto, we don't- we don't have any oil-> she stammered, looking down at her feet nervously. The Totodile's expression turned to one of boredom as he stared back at the little grass pokemon. <Well, fine then, be like that. Just...get something of ours!> his paw went up in exhasperation, before he turned around, shaking his head and staring at Aron and the Ralts with an expectant look, before glancing back to Cyndi after an awkward silence. The chikorita had staggered off into the bushes. <Cyndi.> the Totodile stated calmly, still looking at Aron as he spoke. The Cyndaquil let out a little squeak of acknowledgement towards her name. <Conversation topic.> he added. <Weather, Toto?> she offered. The Totodile smiled in appreciation at the idea, nodding his head and opening his mouth. <Ah,> he let out a breath, still looking at Aron. <Weather. Well, what are your thoughts on the weather we've been having?> There was some shuffling in the bushes nearby- it seemed that "Chiko" was getting something together, whatever that was...

Aron's eyes narrowed in tension as he watched the strange water-type talk. He wish he could hear, because he had troubles with reading pokemon's brains. The only reason his communication with Kalil was so good was because they both shared the psychic abilities. Now, the only parts of the conversations he got were small snippets sent to him by his understanding Psychic pokemon. He had problems when multiple minds were thinking different things, especially pokemon minds. 'He wants her to get the oil, she doesn't think they have any. He is frustrated and shes finding something else they own.. but.. weather. Talk about the weather, Aron.' Aron was surprised, 'The weather? Are you sure?'
There was a small mental argument before Aron blurted out with, <I think it's warm out today. I don't really have much to complain about, but it's not really like me to complain when I can't fix anything on it.>
'Happy?' 'Yes.' Aron tried to gain reassurance from the brains of the pokemon, but all he got was uneasiness from the Chikorita and defiant excitement from the Totodile. Frustrated, he waited for a response.

<Um, I got these!> The Chikorita came back, holding a few berries. <It's really all we have. Don't we need these?> <Of...um...of course we do.> the Totodile lied, his disappointment evident as he saw the berries. <Nevermind. You're lucky today!> the Totodile looked back at Aron now, snapping out his words. <But yes, the weather is quite nice.> he blinked now, his own frustrated expression gone as he stared up at the sky. After an odd, awkward pause, the ropes around Aron suddenly became very loose. Cyndi came out from behind the tree they were tied to as the Totodile gasped. <Wh-what did you do that for!?> <You said he's lucky! Isn't he free to go?> The Cyndaquil asked, blinking. <Well...I guess so. But first!> the Totodile turned back to the trainer. <A...battle?> he asked, staring at Aron curiously.
<I've uh,> he glanced down at his toes, kicking up some dirt absently, <Always wanted to battle a real pokemon trainer.>

Aron could feel the aura of pure amusement coming off of his pokemon, but no specific thoughts reached him. He knew they were saying things, but his deaf ears couldn't hear what was being said. 'Kalil? Remember me?' "Oh! Yeah, sorry! He wants a battle.' 'He wants.. what?' 'Pokemon PMS comes in males too?' A grin was planted on Aron's face as he fell forward, not expecting the ropes that bound him to be loosened. <A battle? One moment you want to burn us in oil and now a battle?> He laughed, <I don't understand your thought process. Is there a catch?>

<Um. A catch, a catch...> the Totodile muttered, contemplating the idea. He didn't want to risk losing anything, so he shook his head. <Um...no. No catch. Just a battle. Between me and you! Or...whatever pokemon.> he backed down again, now realizing that the trainer was standing up.
<Toto...Are you sure?> the Chikorita ventured forwards while Cyndi continued to gloom on in the corner, picking apart blades of grass with her claws. <Positive.> the Totodile grinned, fangs appearing from his mouth as he did so, a competitive look on his face.

'You gonna use me?' Kalil's voice broke Aron's thoughts that were already occupied with the same question. Thankfully, he already had an answer. 'No. I want you and Akhiko to be equal, and I sense he's a little lower leveled than you.' There was silence and Aron worried his pokemon would be upset at his choice, and he allowed his hand to hover slightly over the ball, hoping for some sort of acceptance of his decision. 'Okay. Good luck.' He felt relieved as his pokemon accepted it, sending out the Surskit who looked around, obviously wondering why everything was still so familiar. He hadn't gotten far from his original capture. "Come on Ahkiko, we gotta beat this Totodile!" He said excitedly, one fist clamped over the now empty pokeball.

The Totodile grinned again, his fang glinting in the sunlight as he hopped backwards. Skidding on the ground a bit, he caught his balance and stood a little ways away through the trees, looking ready for battle. <Chiko, Cyndi; stay out of my way!> he barked, swinging a blue paw out, his claws pointing to a little ways away. The Chikorita and the Cyndaquil both moved over there, the Chikorita running in a bit of a panic while the Cyndiquil slowly wandered over, yawning as she did so. <Alright. I'll give the loser the first move,> Toto mocked, obviously confident in his abilities to battle.

"Ready? Bubble!" He said, realizing too late that this was the wrong type scheme to use against a Totodile. He had faith in his pokemon though, and hoped that the other was a lower level or just not very strong with its attacks. Akhiko sent a spray of bubbles less than a second after the words were out of his trainer's mouth. It was, of course, his only move. The torrent of bubbles popped around him as he pushed them forward towards the other pokemon.

The Totodile jumped to the side, dodging the attack easily. It was quite fast for how low of a level it is, and it seemed to be strangely confident of itself. Without bothering to attack, it sent a Leer towards the Surskit, waiting and preparing itself for another attack to come. It was obvious it had some sort of a strategy...
Cyndi, meanwhile, stared at the bubbles in terror and began to have a minor panic attack on the sidelines, while Chiko slapped a paw across her face.
