Arde watched the riddle get washed away by the wind, still completly baffled, "Where did you-" ~Hush.~ the more human of the two Pokemon huffed, smiled at the Poke'ball with the sleeping Wartortle, and tucked it into his belt. The Shinx was staring hard at the words, puzzling, before Ardeo blinked a few times and smiled, "Hah, I get it this time. One of them is bald" he crossed his arms in satisfaction, obviously feeling he had gotten it right, right off the bat.

Yet another ball glowed gently before falling forward at his feet. This time, the ball held a pokemon not owned by the trainer. It contained a Gible.
The ghost pokemon didn't look like she was aware what pokemon belonged to the trainer and which did not. She twirled to the next ball, hovering over it. <Last one.> She said, giggling.
Sand blew, and the last riddle was revealed. "A rooster sits on a barn. The barn is completely flat on both sides, with the bird on the very top. If it lays an egg, which side will it fall on?"

"Uhm.." at first, Ardeo was confused about the Gible, but next thing he knew there was another new riddle in front of his face. "...?" he read it a few times, thinking it over. If the roof was flat, and there was no wind, would it work like a table? Would it stay in the middle? Or would it pick a side and roll? ...Wait. "Roosters don't lay eggs, they're boys." he muttered, crossing his arms in thought. Right? Roosters were boys, they fertalized but chickens were the ones to lay Eggs. Thus...There was no egg to be falling down a rooftop, right?

<Good~> The pokemon said, joyously doing a flip in the air. She was a very giddy pokemon to be in this trainer-trap the other ghosts had put up. The last ball rolled in, containing Ardeo's Sneasel. Name; None Species; Gible Level; 4 Gender; Girl Personality; This crazy pokemon enjoys skipping and screaming at the top of her lungs. She is very hyper-active and seems to never run out of energy. <And for winning all the rounds..> The pokemon flipped again, and a potion, pokedex, and pokeball appeared under her.

"Hah, two for one!" Shields rolled his eyes, ~I figured out the hard one.~ he muttered, to which Ardeo simply shrugged, and then broke into a grin, "Ah, my Poke'dex! Sweet." he swiped it up, examining it and then slipping the flat device into his pocket. The other items were all carefully placed in the sack, Ardeo telling himself he would use the Potion on the little Raptor-mander if he needed the lizards help. 'And speaking of lizards...' he looked down at the two new Poke'balls, only one was recognizable, "Anya! What joy~ So glad your back!" he stared down at the Sneasel in her little capsule, wiggling a little with joy at being safely returned to her own, "I'll let you out once we're all safe, okay?" he slid his golden gaze to the Gible, nearly bouncing in her capsule and stared in astonishment, "A Dragon-type?" he didn't remember having one of those. They were rather hard to raise. No challenge too small! he thought with a grin. ~Thank you~ Shields murred to the Shiny Ghost, bowing his head after he realized his Trainer was going to babble to his capsuled comrades.

She nodded, disappearing before she said any more. The growlith had given up smelling, since all the pokemon scents were throwing him off. <Are we setting off?>

"Yep!" the Blaziken hopped back up to his two feet, still holding the Gible's ball while he thought. "Shields, you want to rest? I know you don't like not being near Saffron for so long..." the Shinx noddly, silently, now that a few others were back he could rest his paws and mind in a Poke'ball for a little bit. Clipping the new addition to an empty slot on his belt, he took another capsule out with an overjoyed Shinx with silver markings on it, "Back ya go, thanks for all the help." after settling into his capsule again, Shields nodded to Arde, and nuzzled his sister, content once more. "Now, we're off!" To see the wizard~ and he struck off with glee towards the next closest direction; assuming by now the other three Poke'mon would follow him.

The Growlith and Wooper followed, remaining quiet. The growlith was glad that he was no longer required to talk. He was getting really tired, and the talking didn't help. Not far up ahead, the eevee could be seen again. Just like she'd been when they first met. Up against multiple pokemon. Two sableye attacked her, along with the randomly appearing duskull.

"...?!" Ardeo was about to ask how everyone was feeling when he saw the Eevee. This time, he was sure there would be no hypnosis; and they must have figured out she was just a Wild Eevee after all. Unlike Tak and Daemon. "Grrr." well, this wasn't going to slide. No. Way. Hm, now was a good as time as any...."Go!" quick as a fast-draw, Ardeo had tossed the Poke'ball containing the Wartortle, who looked pretty confused. He had thought Tak was an odd Squirtle, but those ones were outlandish. Other tribes were gross..."You." the Tortle looked up, surprised, "Distact them. I'm going to save the Eevee." ~Dis- what? Wait, where are you going?~ Ardeo was already gone, zooming towards the group picking on the poor Normal-type; intending to grab her and protect her with his own body. Who cares if he got a few scratches from a Ghost? He got the Eevee into this mess, and he was getting her out of it. The unnamed Wartortle was very confused. "Distract"? Like, what? Attack them? Humph. He crossed his arms, what if he didn't feel like it?

The ghosts laughed, and suddenly two Sableye were added to the group, appearing behind Ardeo as he entered their makeshift circle. The eevee was panting and backing away from the intimidating pokemon in front of her, towards the Blaziken trainer. <Help.> She whispered, ears back in terror as she watched the ghost pokemon in front come closer as she backed up. She hoped she hit his leg soon.

Ardeo moved toward the Eevee, bending himself downwards with his arms spread. Sure, Ghosts could float, but they'd have a higher chance of slashing him rather than this poor fox if he was holding her, he glanced back - just once - to the Wartortle; who was watching with a cross between confused and irritated look on his face. Arde realized, perhaps too late, that the Wartortle didn't look to be in a helping mood. If worse came to worse he could ask Anya to help. He knew she didn't like to battle much, but...He had to save this Eevee. She would understand.

The eevee practically jumped in his spread arms, curling into them with one ear perked at the ghost pokemon as she hid her little face between her paws and wrapped her large tail over top to hide it more. The growlith watched the wartortle for a minute. <Water pokemon are idiots.> He grumbled, recieving a hit from the Wooper next to him. He didn't even bother to acknowledge the blow as he ran out and pounced on a particularly stupid Sableye who had turned his back on the large group of pokemon to watch the trainer.

In imediate response to the warmth that covered his chest, he wrapped his arms around the little Eevee, glaring at the nearest Ghost and stepping back a pace to move more in the middle; away from the claws. Not that he feared them - naturally - but he wasn't going to let those idiots hurt this Eevee anymore. Slowly he lowered a hand to get a Poke'ball from his belt, he hated to ask for help but he was going to have to ask Shields to use his new powers against these- Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the flash of the Growlithe and blinked in surprise. The Wartortle huffed at the taunt, and turned his head some- thinking. He mutated because he liked to battle, there was no reason he shouldn't fight now. For...Experience. Besides, it was because of a Ghost he was in this mess...He nodded his head, happy with this justification, and charged; intending to Bite one of the Ghosts that wasn't beset upon by the fluffy tailed Squirtle.

The growlith's teeth made contact with the startled Sableye's shoulder, and he yanked back, twisting his head as he did so. The pokemon squealed under him, twisting and turning and only making the pain more miserable. Finally, the growlith released the attack, bouncing off the ghost pokemon who, when released, didn't even try to get up. He pumped fire at another Sableye before leaping out of the way. He knew once Shields was out it would probably be best if he wasn't in the little electric-type's way.
The ghosts didn't even notice one fallen comrade, moving in closer to the eevee and trainer. The Sableye that had fire blown at him glanced around before he found the growlith. he started to glow a little before the Bite attack hit him, sending his sprawling to the side with teeth in his leg.

Seeing his chance, Ardeo slipped his hand down to his belt and flicked the ball with Shields and Saffron in it. Only one was released however (Arde will never figure out how those two do that). The blue lion didn't even need prompting, he yowled and barreled straight for any Ghost not on fire and without a very large Tortle chomping on his leg.
