The Sandshrew flinched in surprise. <Oh! An Onyx!> Tilting her head back pretty far, she managed to look up at the giant creature. <I've heard of them, but I've never seen them. Boulder said they were humongous . And they are!> The look she gave Mya was either fright or excitement- or maybe both. Whatever it was, it was clear she was interested.
The brutish shaped Sandahrew slumped on the ground and rested his head on his claw. <Wuzz the collah of a burp? Eh.. Green?> The shrew had no idea what it could be, but he still laughed.
<Ew,> her sister said, scrunching her face up in digust. He ignored her. <Haha! Wait- is it burple? Heh.>

Mya giggled as the bagon left her lap. The bagon walked over to the sandrew and looked up a the onyx as well. He smiled, shook his head and ran quick to Mya's lap again. Again Mya began tp pet him. He must really enjoy it and she must really love him.
The ekans laughed as the word green came out. "Ewww green?" He laughed at hearing green. Green did make it sound nasty but still funny. But the burple came out and the ekans stopped laughing and stared with amazement. Another one knew his jokes. Was his jokes really that easy? How could he continue if everyone knows them? He nodded at the answer as if to say, "Yeap your right," but no words left his month.
Mya giggled, like she always does, and patted the ekans on the head. "Aww, no worries. We'll work on getting you some new jokes if you'd like."
The ekans nodded and slid down to the ground. There he laid down and stayed.

The sandshrew perked up his head with a unexpected look of surprise. <Oh, woah, I jus’ made that up. Guess I’m a genius, huh Rita?> he said, directing towards his sister as a flex of his brain muscle. He didn’t expect Rita to be impressed though- he knew the inevitable eye roll would go along with a sarcastic comment. <Yeah, you’re such a genius, Pebble. I really respect your wisdom in the embarrassing bodily function department.> And as she predicted, the insult would bounce off like rubber. He laughed as he responded: <Hoho, those are big words there! See, we’re both smart!> He rolled around the sand, flinging it around immaturely and giving a <Ho ho ho> as he did so. The Onyx gave a little chuckle, but only because of the typical way the siblings had acted.
Rita turned back at Mya, looking awfully exhausted. Her eyes glazed up at the Ekans, opening her mouth to ask him a question before Pebble spoke before her: <Tell another joke!> he shouted enthusiastically.

Mya giggle quietly at the insult and slowly turned it into a cough so know one would know. She was still petting Rex except this time he was sleeping. He must have fallen asleep while he the two sandshrew were goofing.
The ekans sat up and was excited to hear they wanted another joke. So he sat in silence for a moment.
Mya repositioned herself to put her legs off the the side of her. She had hoped it would have been more comfortable but it really wasn't. Rex shuffled a bit, took a peak, and went right back to sleep. He must have been exhausted. He did have a pretty full day.
All of a sudden the ekans spoke, "Ok, ok! I have one. What' s big and grey with horns?" Awaiting an answer the ekans calmed down a bit.

Pebble paused his rambunkous rolling as the Ekans called for their attention. He listened with a wide grin as he began his joke, and as it mulled around in his brain, his smile seemed to slowly fade. His brow furrowed in thought and looked stumped he tapped his claws distractedly. <Uh. I dunno? Something that’s big and grey and has a lotta horns?> The Onyx looked down at himself and, for what he noticed, he noted down in his head; 1) He was grey. 2) He was big. 3) He had a horn. <Um, an Onyx?> he said quietly, blinking meekly. The ekans again rose his head in shock. Could he have heard right? Did they really not know this time? Or could they be faking. He wasn't sure so his head tilted a bit. He sighed with a little bit of relief and began to answer.
"Surprisingly not. Actually the answer is..." The bagon jumped in his sleep and stunned the ekans for a few. This time the bagon spoke. "What was that?"He twisted hie head right and left and stood on two feet. Mya looked. She never saw him on tow feet before. She wasn't even sure he could do that. The bagon sniffed the air. What ever it was must have passed but he wasn't sure. The ekans mouth hung open due to being in shock. It was a least expected moment. He watched the bagon scamper back into Mya's lap and lay down again. A hand landed gently on him as Mya petted him some more. And again the ekans spoke. "Well any way. The answer is." He paused for a second hoping to not be interrupted again. "A donphan marching band" Mya sat silent and made a few giggle noises and kissed the bagons head. Her head turned up to the onyx to check on him and then back to the ekans. A red light appeared before them, leading out of Mya's pocket. She checked and saw a light on the pokeballs glowing. She picked them up and let the others out for a few. The rattata and speal came out. The rattata smile and sniffed. The speal ran and hid behind Mya peaking out at the onyx, ekans, and two sandshrew. The Sandshrews looked surprised for a second, but then they looked at each other and chuckled a bit. "Haha, that's so random," commented Pebble. Rita didn't look as happy, but she didn't look sad either.. She seemed to be thoughtful. <What's that? A Don-> She stopped midway to gasp in fright, joining her brother as he dropped his jaw. They stared as the Ratata and Spheal propped out, making Rita scramble next to brother and stared in fright. The Oynx rose his head, a bit amazed by the sudden materializing of the two pokemon. The more he thought about it... The less sense it made! He could neither understand what they were. These weren't any kind of desert pokemon he knew..
The large gray creature couldn't help but bend down and ask: <What the heck are those?>

The ekans stared as well. Unsure as to what they were as well. He knew what the one sandshrew was about to ask and he so much wanted to answer. But before they both had to do as they wanted the strange pokemon popped out.
Mya patted the spheal and explained,"Well this one here is a spheal. She, well, she. Hmm, I guess you could say she came a very watery area. However I had gotten her form a contest. Give and idea and receive a spheal." The ekans mouth dropped at hearing about water. He never really though about how water would look. In a big area at one time that is. Maybe a puddle but never anything bigger. How could the spheal live in a puddle? It had to be bigger, but what would it look like? Mya giggled at the site of the ekans. And turned to the ratatta who was sniffing at each of the pokemon. Then Mya explained again, "That one over there is called a ratatta. She too was won from a contest. Accept a different kind. Everyone was to send a random saying in. All would be received and the one that was recieved at a certain time got the prize. Which just so happened to be her." The ratatta walked up the the sand shrews and gave a sniff. Mya giggle and pulled her back over. "She's very inquisitive and curious. I assume she came from a grassy area. Though Again I'm not sure. Ekans here," Mya points to the ekans and pats him on the head, "is my first captured pokemon. though I really hate using the word. I rescued him from a very hungry spearow. I fed it cause I felt bad about taking it's food but I also didn't want to see my new friend eaten. Kinda a long story really." Mya sighed as she went into her own thought, She's been on such a great adventure. She couldn't wait for more things to happen. And the sandshrew seemed to have stopped her. And the best part is she was loving every minute of it. Even the battle she had to win the ekans. She looked down and smiled at her bagon. Such a great team she had. Even if one was afraid to battle, another worried about making others laugh, one more curious about things then battling, and then her little bagon wanting to learn whatever he could. So exciting. She snapped back out of the thought and her smile left her face as she got herself back to what was before her. "The onyx was a bit bored and so he is following me for awhile. He's quiet but I've been enjoying my time anyway with him. He actually helped with the spearow a bit. She explained the best she could. Boy was she a talker. She really needs to quiet herself down, so she decided to stop chatting and apologized for blabbing on.

It didn't seem like Rita was listening, gazing at the Ratata in fear. She bent back as the purple mouse drew nearer, still stuck in that position as Mya pulled her back. She watched her with big brown eyes, afraid and nervous at the sudden crowd.
Her brother was acting a bit different, though he hadn't moved since the Pokemon came out. Keeping his attention on the girl's words, his green eyes shifting to who she spoke of. The Onyx shifted uncomfortably as Mya talked about him, and if he was able to, he would've blushed.
He soaked in every word she spoke. As she apologized, he suddenly jumped up and barked, <Hey! That's not true! You're not babbling, I listened to the whole thing. Can you tell the story about the Ekans? Pleeeeaase?> Pebbled let his expression turn sad and his eyes wide and innocent, giving off what many people call the "The puppy dog eyes". Rita gave him a weird look at his strange behavior. This wasn't his usual shenanigans.

The ratatta sniffed at the air wanting a closer sniff, she couldn't do so as Mya was holding her. She snarled a bit then calmed down and rubbed on Mya. Mya held out the spheal pokeball and it ran toward it to go back inside. The red light came out and the spheal had disappeared. The ratatta shoook her head and went back to sniffing the air.
Mya blushed as the he seemed happy to hear her talk. She knew she was babbling for the simple fact she does it a lot.
The ekans didn't really want to hear the story so he ran to the pokeball and Mya let him in. The ratatta followed and again Mya pulled the ball out and let her in. Mya smiled, nodded a yes, then put the pokeball away and began to explain.
"Well it all started with my first step into the desert. The ekans popped out of the sand unexpectedly and began with the jokes. It was very enjoyable and we were having a great time just laughing. Some flapping noises were heard but no one noticed at first.
Mya paused as she wanted to take a breathe and let everyone get excited.
The bagon awoke and looked up at Mya. He loved remembering his first big battle with her. It was so exciting and he couldn't beleive he had actually won. He went off into a daze as he imagined himself in the battle again. Lost in his train of though he began to snarl and jump around.
Mya giggled and settled him back down. He looked around and ran back to Mya's lap hoping it wouldn't be to embarrassing.

Rita had sat down by now, feeling a bit uncomfortable after the nerve-wracking experience she had just gone through. She noticed for the first the Bagon, and she opened her eyes wide, realizing how strange he looked too. But.. For some reason he didn’t freak her out like the Rattata. This Pokemon acted funny when it shouldn’t of, and laid down a lot, the reason why she probably hadn’t seen him. He reminded Rita of her brother.
Pebble was hooked onto the story, and now all Mya had to do was reel him in. <Flapping? Oh no! I think I know what it is.> The Sandshrew clenched his paws together nervously, listening closely to her story as she continued. He liked her and the Ekans..
The Onyx didn't seem to focus, but he knew he'd bring himself back into the conversation when he came up in the story.

Mya smiled at the comment that was made as she spoke again.
"Out of no where this spearow flew and snatched the ekans. Unsure of exactly what to do my bagon here and I followed hoping by some chance we'd be able to catch up."
Mya paused once more watching the emotion in the one sandshrews eyes. She was really enjoying this and the sandshrew seemed to be enjoying it as well. mya looked up at the onyx.
"Now this is where this onyx comes in. Pretty interesting how it worked but I was happy about it. Anyway, the spearow ended flying right in the Onyx's head ad fell to the ground as he or she."
Mya paused again wondering whether it was male or female. She stopped her thought and spoke again. "Well anyway, I ended up catching the ekans And the spearow fell to the ground. I wanted to make sure it was ok but I didn't dare go near with the ekans in my hands."Mya explained how the bird wanted the ekans back and how the bagon wanted to battle it. As mya explained how the battle went she would pause before a really good part just to watch the expressions on everyone faces. "Then the bagon threw him to the ground like I have never seen done before. It was really great. I made sure the Onyx's piles of dirt weren't messed up and figured if there were any i'd help to fix them. The spearow got up and began to talk about how hungry it was and so I gave some food to it. I'd have to say it may not have been the best food but it was the least I could do after all that." Mya spoke about the onyx and how he decided to tag along with them an why.

Once Mya spoke of a Spearow, the Sandshrew pounded a curled up claw onto the sand. <I knew it!> he said, and listened to the rest of the story with a transfixed expression. Rita noted on how dumb he looked, his mouth gaping and his eyes staring widely as if he’d just been hypnotized. When Pebble liked something, he usually became obsessed with savage curiosity. All she knew was that she wouldn’t be so easily amused. She was not like her brother. At all. Never. The Onyx, who looked like he was gazing thoughtfully at the sky but was really listening to the story, turned his head over upon hearing his own name. <Yup. That’s what happened,> he said, trying to pass off that he didn’t care if she mentioned him or not, when really.. It did make a difference. To him, at least.
<Wow!> Pebble exclaimed, imagining the battle as a instense, astounding spectacle only seen by few on a rare occasion. He sighed longingly, imagining himself admidst the fight. <I wish I had been there. I would’ve helped, really.> He nodded his head while Rita let out an exaggerated sigh. Suddenly noticing her disrespectful attitude, Pebble cocked his head towards her and gave her a stony stare. <Shuddup, Rita! This is important!>
Rita huffed and stared right back at him, flaring up as well. <I didn’t say anything!>
<Well, you did that dramatic girly sighing thingy. That’s equal to saying something mean. Now shuddup and listen!>
<Don’t boss me around, Pebble!>
<Shuddup!>
<Is that all you can say? “Shuddup?”> Rita mocked him loudly, adopting her brother’s mannerisms in a unintelligent way. There was a brief silence from Pebble.
<..Shuddup..>

The bagon chuckled a bit at the site of the sandshrew as he got excited. The bagon couldn't believe how different the two were when it came to reacting to things.
Mya made sure all her pokemon were safley put into there pokeballs. That is, except the bagon. He loved to tag along on the outside. Mya was his best friend at first sight.
As the two sandshrew started arguing, Mya asked them politely to stop and try to realize that everyone has there own opinion. She also tried explaining how difference in opinions keeps things interesting.
"You see, if everyone believed the same thing there wouldn't be much need for communication. And if everyone thought the same, everything would get boring." Mya tried to explain as best she could in hopes she didn't use to many big words. that is if she used any at all. She couldn't remember. The bagon looked at the sky and took a deep breathe. He was re-oxygenating his body with the fresh air from the desert. A bit warm, but nice temperature for him. If the temperature would decrease to much he might decide the ball to be better. The though of cold weather made him shiver and leave the thought. It was as if he re-entered the universe. He listened to the conversation at hand and nodded.

Rita whipped her head towards the girl, looking ready to heat up an argument, but he only looked frustrated and confused. <That.. That doesn’t make any sense.> Pebble was already hard at work deciphering the proverb. <So.. Wait. Not everyone likes fart jokes?> <Yes, Pebble. There are some sane, mature people out there who don’t like fart jokes.> <Huh. That’s a bummer.> The sandshrew looked off into the distance, a little disturbed at the revelation, making Rita almost lose her mind over her brother’s ridiculousness. The Onix could barely keep himself from bursting with laughter. He leaned down to where his head was about level with Rita’s body and said, <I like your friend, Sandshrew. He’s wise in a strange way.> Rita huffed and crossed her front arms around her face. <Well,> she said hotly, <that Sandshrew’s my brother and I have to live with his “wisdom” for the rest of my life. Try liking him then.> (You can move on if you want, you know.)
