The Onix could barely hear Mya, but he could someone was trying to talk to him. <Hmm?> It said, whipping his head around to face the trainer. Umfortunely for the Spearow, it was flying right past it's general area. Smacked by the moving boulder of a head, it fell out of the sky like Pelipper Paul's messages.
Puhft. The bird landed directly on one of the sand dunes. The Onix hadn't even realized what he'd done, so he looked down at the fallen Spearow with curiosity. It blinked, then put his head in the sand to pour sand over the bird and the snake's shocked bodies.

Mya giggled at the site of the spearow falling and in a way felt bad. But she was trying to rescue the ekans. She ran to the ekans side and looked up at the onyx.
"Thank you so much for the help. Even if it was unexpected."
Again she explained to the onyx what had happened and how it had helped her. The bagon ran to the spearow and growled. He stared at it as though ready for battle. Mya pulled him away and again looked at the onyx.
" Is there any way I can thank you?"
She looked at the ekans hoping for it to awake. Patting the side of it as she waited. She hoped it would be ok. She wanted so bad to hear the end of the joke.

The Onix seemed a little dazed as the trainer explained the situation to him. He didn't understand what was going on, and wanted nothing mote than to resume his pile-making. <Um.. You could get that bird out of my sand dune.>
The Ekans kept his eyes closed for a bit before he opened them wearily, tremendously shaken by the while expirence. Fear rose in him as he realized that would happen again and again throughout his lifetime. His life could end tomorrow if another empty stomach passed by. But as it stared up at the expectant human, it forget all about it. He had a joke to finish! That was more important! <Olive you.> it said in a goofy voice with a giggle at the end.
The Spearow stood up as the Bagon threatened him for a battle. He flapped his wings angrily, accepting his challenge while it chattered on noisely. <I fight you for the food!>

Mya looked at the ekans happily and snuggled it. She giggled at the joke but was more happy the ekans was ok. She nodded at the onyx and decided if they should battle it should be somewhere else. If any of the sand was moved she would have to help fix it.
She led the bagon away. Then her attention turned.
" Lovely, are you happy now little bagon? If you wanna battle let's go somewhere else."
The bagon turned, smiled and turned his attention back to the spearow. Mya still holding the ekans was afraid to loose cause she didn't want to give up the ekans. Not for food anyway. However the bagon seemed pretty confident.
"Alrighty little one. If you think we can win then I have faith in you. Ready! Rage!"
The bagon jumped all ready to attack. As Mya spoke the move happened. The bagon was so full of it and so excited of being able to battle. The rage left him and went towards the spearow.

Feet still stuck in the sand, the Spearow was nailed in the face from the charging Bagon. It sputtered furiously and Growled at the Bagon, trying to lower his fighting power.
The Ekans in the girl's hands slithered up around her neck, scared of the violent Spearow. For once, the snake wasn't staring at the sky.

Mya jumped as the ekans did that, but when she realized what was happening she calmed down. She patted him on the head as if to say everything will be ok.
The bagon covered his ears hoping he wouldn't hear it and then looked at Mya as he waited for the next move to be said.
"Alright it's time to do a bite attack."
The bagon charged with the bite hoping the teeth would sink in and do some damage.

Feet unburied now, the Spearow regained his agility even after his terrible descent. He beat his wings furiously as the Bagon swung his mouth at him, dodging by an inch. Not far in the air, he shot back down with a Peck in a swift, fluid motion.

The bagon rubbed his head after the hit.
"Rage!"
The bagon stopped rubbing his and and focused on the flying bird. Letting out a rage once more, he began hoping it would hit. He concentrated.
Mya looked on again crossing her figures. She knew she had to do something to save the poor ekans but the only solution she could think of was this battle. She then thought of the end of the battle. What will happen if she looses? What will happen if she wins? If she wins, should she capture the bird? If she looses what will she do to rescue the ekans. She focused again on the battle before her.

The Spearow was pushed back, raising his talon in time to have his sharp feet on the Bagon's stomach. He knew what he was doing. The scar running near his eye was proof of his experienced battling skills. And this Bagon didn't seem to worry him that much, not showing any signs of fear.
Clenching his stomach so he couldn't get away, the Spearow Pecked at Mya's Pokemon again, this time up close. It was a risky move, being so close to his opponent, but the bird was confident he'd get his lunch back.

The bagon fell to the ground with a thump. Mya had tears in her eyes as the spearow began to use peck. She couldn't use the scared spheal could she? The spheal hated battling. No she had to stick with the bagon. Otherwise he would be mad if she switched him.
Mya and the bagon both let out a scream. Mya's scream was from fear that her bagon was really hurt. The bagons scream was from the pain that was inflicted.
"Bite!"
When the bagon stopped and turned and bit hard on the birds leg. He hope that it would jear the bird enough so he could escape the pecking.
Mya stopped for a moment as she thought of something she wanted to try. I mean the bagon would eventually fly when he grew enough. So why not give him a change to now. Though the difference would be the safety of it but it might just work.

The Spearow screeched into the sky as the teeth sunk into the sky, eyes sinking back in pain. This creature was inexpirenced, but it had strength as well. If he wanted to win, he had to remember that.
The bird wanted to do a Peck, but he would have to get out of his Bite first. He tried flapping his little wings, but the Bagon was too heavy. The Spearow glared at him with a Leer, his eyes burning with a fiery temper.

The bagon heard the screech and squinted at the sound. Mya covered her ears as the thing made the horrid noise. The bagons' mouth opened, letting go of the spearow. He began to fall.
His mouth had let go of the birds leg. As he began to feel himself fall he grabbed at the wings of the creature. Mya screeched in fear.
"Hold on!"
The bagon tried with all his might in hopes to grab something but the only thing he could grab were feathers and more feathers. He grabbed one more time and a handful of feathers came with him as he fell to the ground. Mya screamed and ran for the bagon as he fell.
Mya ran as fast as she could hoping to catch him but he fell and hit the ground. The bagon hit the ground head first with a big thump. Mya cried hysterically as she saw him.
The bagon stood up and shook his head and looked at Mya. Mya couldn't believe it. He was alright. But how? How could he be ok?
"Oh! I forgot your head is hard like a rock."
Mya giggled as she was happy to know he was alright.
" Get ready. I want you to use bite again but this time if you get carried up I want you to climb onto the spearows back and hold tight."
The bagon nodded and watched the spearow. He was getting tired but he didn't want to give up. Not when it came to the ekans. He could couldn't loose. That would be worse then loosing any battle. Specially if they had to give the ekans up as food. How horrid would that be? The bagon waited to make a move.

The Spearow landed clumsily on the ground, having to walk forward a few steps to avoid falling over. It turned around, feeling a small surge of satisfaction at the sight of the Bagon on the ground. The drop must've hurt it.
Seeing it stand up agin, the bird knew his job wasn't over. The Spearow let out a battle cry, rampaging forward with a slight wobble. As it ran, it furiously flapped it's wings, feeling itself rise slowly. Sailing right over the Bagon's head, it clenched it's talons on it, trying to raise the Pokemon up with him again.

If it wasn't for the hard head the bagon had the talons may have hurt. And though they gripped him tight the bagon hardly felt it. To him it all seemed to go in slow motion. As if he was watching from another direction, picture by picture.
"Grab the legs"
He snapped back to the battle as Mya told him what to do. The bagon gripped the legs as the bird began to lift. He wasn't sure what he was gonna do from there but whatever it was Mya knew.

The brown avian squawked as the Bagon pulled on his legs. What was it thinking? It was gonna take down the both of them! The Spearow's altitude began to drop rapidly, unable to carry a Bird with a small Spearow body and small Spearow wings. They hadn't reached the ground yet, but a crash landing was well on it's way if Mya's pokemon didn't do something right away.
