River glanced sideways at Kara, not moving his head to look at her as she walked over to them. So that Lucario belonged to her? Raising an eyebrow, he folded his arms, watching her curiously. This was different. So her Lucario was testing them...for a gym she was challenging too? Frowning a little bit, he nodded to her question. "Yes, the fighting gym has fighting types." he stated, trying not to be too sarcastic about it, considering how obvious it would be. He nodded to her introduction. "I'm River. This is Azami." he jerked a thumb towards the Pidgey, who ruffled up her feathers a bit before letting them settle. <They're fine,> he shrugged. <They're tough enough.> What a weird encounter...Eh. Oh well. At least it was interesting...She's so lucky to have a Lucario. He couldn't help feel a tinge of jealousy at the fact that she had one.

Before the Lucario or it's trainer could reply, however, there came a commotion from behind them.
It seemed another pokemon had been hiding in the forest, as well as Kara and Ryder. It had been rather confident in the battle- of course those two humans and their pokemon wouldn't be able to best the slowpoke and shroomish duo. Sadly, she had been wrong.
Now the pokemon zoomed out of it's hiding place, clicking it's pincers madly, yelling so loudly that her words were unclear and jumbled. She headed directly for River, being the closer of the two, attempting to tangle herself in his blond hair.
<How dare you? How dare you?! You and your... your... smelly, nasty pokemon dared to beat my friends! Unbelieveable, unbelievable!>
The gligar continued to shout such things, gripping on to the pokemorph's head and screeching as loud as she could. Her tail waved madly, curled over her body, as if ready to strike- but it was easy to tell she was faking. She was merely trying to scare the humans off. It seemed she never ran out of breath, as the yelling continued on and on.
(Spelled "your" wrong. O.O I'm just not myself today. *Fixes*)

((^^; can you guys not go ahead with the diolague too much? it makes it hard for Leah unless she just pretends she didn't hear any of it or didn't wanna say anything. xD))
Leah continued to watch the awkward conversation between the other two trainers. She was the first to notice in between it all that the bush was still moving slightly. She watched, tuning them out, and jumped back as yet another pokemon appeared. She couldn't help but giggle as it latched onto her traveling companion, but came to his rescue none the less. She reached forward to grab the flying pokemon and pulled sharply, obviously not thinking it might actually be attached to River in some way. <Maybe.> She started, speaking through her pulling attempts, <Your friends shouldn't have challenged us when they might have lost. Or, obviously, they should've gotten better.>

"AH!" River let out a yell as the Gligar latched to his head. He lifted his hands as Azami escaped, flying away to land on a rock a little ways away, not bothering to do anything to stop the Gligar from attacking his head. It looked pretty funny. His ears twitching in annoyance, a few sparks flew off from the Pikachu morph as he lifted his hands to try to get the Gligar away. As Leah started pulling, however, his head was jerked sideways. Blinking, he clenched his teeth through the pain as his hair was pulled. "GET OFF!" he yelled, trying to avoid the pincers as he attempted to pull it off as well.
It was then that Azami realized she'd been referred to as smelly and nasty. Chirping angrily, she flew down, landing on the front of River's head; half on his face, her talons scraping around his eyes, which he immediately shut as Azami tried to attack the Gligar, her own screeching matching the purple pokemon.
<SMELLY AND NASTY!? Look at you, you gross freak! You look like a machop with wings! Go fly into a grimer or something!> she continued chirping as well. This was making way too big of a commotion...

Kara and Ryder watched the frenzied, yet comical attack of the gligar on River. Kara just managed to stiffle a laugh as she moved into a fighting stance, her body language turning serious. Ryder perfectly mimicked her trainer, getting into the same fighting stance next to her. "Psy...chic!" Kara cross her arms as she shouted the command. Ryder once again mimicked Kara's actions, her eyes glowing blue, preparing to launch a powerful Psychic attack on the gligar. All Azami had to do was stay where she was so the lucario could get a clean shot...

The gligar continued to thrash about, and her yelling and spitting increased once Leah and Azami decided to intervene. <Ow, OW! Leggo of me! I'll get off, I'll get off, just let go of me then!> She finally screeched, holding up a pincer to protect her face from the bird's attacks. It was then she noticed the Lucario.
<And you! Where do you think you're pointing those paws at, huh? Huh?> She yelled, shaking her other pincer wildly at Ryder. <Oi! This is none of your buisness anyway!>
Finally calming down, the gligar stopped her thrashing, but still clung to River's head by his hair and one of his long ears. She glared at the trainers and pokemon, one at a time, eyes narrowed.
