(( Yes, good decision. xD I think I would follow too. You do whatever you want to. What you did is fine, don’t see anything wrong with it. (Although, you’re leaving your bag unguarded..) Should I give Imo experience after this, though? Oh, and did K dodge the attack? Just wondering, he could’ve either fallen from the attack or moved out of range by falling to the side. ))
Taking a smack to the face as the Elekid spun back to his feet, Grepa was pushed up onto her backlegs by the force and fell sideways with the weight of her head. The moment her body fell to the ground, she rolled over, making a quick recovery. Grepa once again fell back on track with another Quick Attack, aiming for K’s stomach.
The Electrikes reared up in surprised, definitely not expecting a agile Masquerain instead of a clumsy human. They tensed up a bit, not expecting such a confusing fight on their assessment day.. But they had to bear along with it, as weird as it would get. They were brought back to reality as they were hit with obnoxious bubbles, and looked up at Imogene with growls and howls (not attacks) of rage. Without communication, both knew what to do and leapt up at the flying bug with simultaneous leaps.. and crashes on the ground. None of them could reach them, like, as they had noticed, Belue with the Gastly. One of them, however, yelled, <The berry feeder!> and they turned to stare at the bag that had been reported to have fed the Girafarig. Both backed off and paced towards the bag, ready to tear it apart.
Speaking of Vincent, he seemed to have conquered his opponent as a purple-marked Electrike lay asleep on the ground below him. The Girafarig was on her side, still kicking and fighting as Oran tried to get a hit between the flying hooves. Kallan didn’t seem to be doing well, as he was often pushed back by the little Electrike, but neither did the offenders, either. Pretty soon the Electrike was knocked to the side, crawling off into the bushes while stumbling painfully on his back leg. With a stiff body, Kallan swiped another pulsing Shadow Ball at Flash, who leapt up on all fours and dodged the attack skillfully. The Manectric sent a Spark at Kallan, who yelled as the pain seeped through his body and paralyzed him even worse.

((Hmm...maybe give her some experience, but don't make her gain a level or anything. =P And K dodged. :3 Imogene's pokemon is a Masquerain XD))
The Elekid wasn't recovered enough yet to dodge the attack, and was bowled over by Grepa, falling backwards and skidding along the ground for a few moments. Eventually, he stopped, and flipped backwards onto his feet, growling in frustration to the Electrike. With the only attack he knew, he sped forwards once more in a Quick Attack, not hesitating this time before speeding forwards.
Imogene flew upwards a bit more, relieved that the two pokemon couldn't reach her as she was up in the sky; nonetheless, as she saw them look towards the bag, her little Masquerain eyes widened in surprise, and she quickly flitted after them towards the bag, sending a sweet scent towards the two of them in a bit of a panic before using a Quick Attack to speed forwards and try to catch up to them, flipping herself so that she was between them and the bag; pausing, she discovered she was now down at the ground, but at least she could defend herself somewhat... Her gaze however flicked up as she heard Kallan yell, and she winced as she saw how the Manectric had attacked him; there wasn't much she could do right now to help him...

The Elekid bounded on her face again, making Grepa squeal and rear back. Her face was aching a bit; if K kept doing this, he could break her muzzle.. She did not want to think about this, though. She shook her head wildly with her fierce red gaze, shooting foward with lightning speed and leaping in range of the Elekid.
The Electrikes yipped wildly, unsure what the pinkish cloud heading towards them would cause. It soared past their noses, making the heart-pounding rage of war suddenly seem a little fresher and softer. Distracted, this allowed Imogene to reach the coveted bag before them. Infuriated by the fact they let this happen, the grunts teamed up and both propelled themselves from their hind legs, flying through the air towards the Masquerain.
Vincent had ganged up with Penelope, knocking around a dormant Oran like a sack of potatoes. Belue had surfaced to consciousness, however, and toppled over the Girafarig unexpectedly. The Gastly yelled frantically, yelling for help. The blue-marked Electrike seemed to be stirring from his sleep as well.
Kallan glanced over at his best friend, like always feeling that unhelpful burden of responsibility weigh on him. He had to ignore it, though, since an infuriated Manectric was charging right at him again. The Haunter bended in the only way a cloud of smoke could, causing Flash to leap through a ring of purple air. This can’t go on much longer, Kallan thought frantically. I’ve only gotten lucky when I’m able to dodge him.. Instinctively, he tried to think up a plan.

K was pushed backwards again, and he slid on the ground before finally standing up. Instead of attacking right away, he paused; the entire battle would just be the two of them throwing quick attacks at each other until one finally ran out of HP, and he was already feeling tired of it. A deep growl emitted from deep inside his throat, and he stood in a defensive position, waiting expectantly for the Electrike to attack again.
Imogene blinked as the two electrikes jumped at her, and she fell backwards in the air. Ouch, she thought to herself, shutting her eyes tight as she flew up again to guard her bag. That hurts more than I'd expected. Nonetheless, she sent a combination of two attacks forwards; bubbles, their speed brought up by the Ominous Wind she sent after them at the two dogs, her orange and white wings flapping as she sent it forwards.

Grepa landed on her feet from the leap; in a graceful pose, she held her head up and stared at him haughtily, although there was a hint of aggravation and exhaustion in her look. She wanted to spit at the strange creature, at how stubborn it was; she felt disgraced that they shared the same element. She refused to even argue with him, or speak for that. All that mattered to her was that the Elekid would suffer defeat- she would definitely gain the approval of her father. Her feet started up again, and the Electrike zoomed head first towards K.
One of Imogene’s attackers stood growling as the other one hobbled over to the unsuspecting bag. It looked so free for the taking.. It was too bad the pest of an insect had to guard it so determinedly. He tried to latch on to the brown material with his teeth, but he could barely start to tug as the bubbles pushed him over. The Electrike (and his teammate) was pushed over onto its back, and with a howl he babbled, “Stupid you! Stupid you, you pest..” The other Electrike avoided using her breath and rolled onto her feet, leaving the other one to fend for itself with its soft belly in the air. “Too tired..” it mumbled, regretting stuffing himself up before going on the patrol with Flash. “Darn you..” The recovered Electrike quickly sent her eyes rolling, although she did feel an agreement with the energy issue. She was starting to feel exhausted as well. She reared up her body, though, and tried to hit the Masquerain again in hopes to get the battle over with and done.
Penelope struggled underneath the rampant Belue, her tail caterwauling horrendously. Once it cleared up for a second, the tail realized a perfect strike and so it flung itself onto the Electrike and bit down hard. Belue yelped and jerked away from the Girafarig, who sent a hoof into the purple-marked pup. Meanwhile, Vincent was dealing with the third Electrike officer, giving him a thorough lick to the face and making him stand still just in shock that a ghost had unexpectedly tried to fight him with saliva. The Gastly looked around at the furious creatures in combat, and with a sudden surge of distress, Vincent flew off from Oran. The Electrike shook his fur and proceeded to chase him. He still had plenty of energy left, unlike his comrade Belue.
Another flash of lightning, and a puff of smoke; Flash was dealing some damage on the opposing force. Kallan shot down, feeling very tense and worn out at this pointy This dog.. He definitely knew what he was doing. Well trained in combat, there wasn’t much the Haunter could that the Manectric couldn’t predict. Kallan wasn’t too much of a fighter anyway. He looked around sternly while trying to push the dog away. Something had to be done.. He had a bad feeling this wasn’t a battle they could win.

K jumped to the side this time, dodging the attack, and stopped. Continually running around was too tiring; he couldn't lose too much more HP at all, or he'd faint. Sparks gathered around him, and finally focused into a smaller cluster, and were sent towards the Electrike. A Thundershock might not do as much damage, but it wouldn't tire him as much as a quick attack would.
Imogene looked around the clearing in what spare seconds she had, realizing that things were not going well at all. And Kallan was facing that Manectric; that pokemon was a high level, and yet, they still had these stupid Electrikes to worry about! What if they didn't win? What would happen? All her stuff would be taken, and they'd have to go all the way back to Sasqui City...At least she had one last thing she could try. Turning her back to the Electrikes, her wings closed around her, and she went back to being a human. It wasn't a fun process- it felt too weird, and hurt too, as her limbs came back to her and her face rearranged itself. Still, she didn't have much of a choice at this point, so she had to bear with it. Her clothes smoothing themselves out, she fell back as the Electrike toppled into her. Annoyed, she felt claws dig into her skin immediately, and her arm reached out to her bag, reaching for a pokeball. Finally, her hand closed around the orb, and she tossed it to the side. "Spirit!" she called. Desperate times called for desperate measures. The Ekans was only level 4, but at least it would help. "Send a poison sting towards my voice- go!" she called. That was another trouble; Spirit was blind. <Wh-what?> the snake shivered. There were voices and sounds coming from all around her, but she did what she was told, sending one towards where Imogene's voice had come from, and the girl flattened herself on the ground as much as she could, hoping the attack would hit the Electrike on top of her.

The Electrike girl growled furiously at the maiden under her, swiping her clothes as much as she could and barely noticing under her rage the entrance of the Ekans. The dart flew with a zing, right into her side; the dog lurched a bit, looking over to where the snake was. She tried to fight on, beat the girl as much as she could, but.. Her breathing was becoming narrower, her limbs stiffening up. She fell like a log to the side, breathing for air in a panicked state as she looked around with splotches in her eyes. She saw the bloated Electrike escaping the scene, and she didn’t need to know anything else; she knew they had failed Flash. She cursed under her breath as her body went into convulsions from the poison.
Kallan took a risk on his next attack on Flash. His hand, pulsating with ghostly power, pushed the Manectric in the face with the power of a Shadow Ball. The dog growled as he was pushed back, losing sight of the Haunter. He quickly regained his footing and leaped forward in a heartbeat, teeth sparking in a Thunder Fang; but he only went through a false cloud of purple. He escaped? How? The infuriated Manectric started to sniff the ground, but the Ghost gave off no scent.
Kallan reappeared on the other side of the battlefield, emerging through the ground as a young boy. Grepa looked at him confusedly as he moved out of the way of the Thundershock. She spun around at the sound of Vincent’s voice; <Wait, Kallan!> His face showed understanding of the ghostly boy’s appearance before he was struck to the ground by Oran. Kallan looked panicked watching his friend fall; luckily, though, the rampant Girafarig had gotten on all fours and, busy fighting off Belue, tripped over Vincent’s attacker. Seeing the chance to escape, the Ghastly joined his friend in running off. This all had happened in a few heartbeats; but Grepa understood the situation, the enemies were escaping! She took a single glance back at Flash, whose eyes were strained angrily at the sudden turn of events, and she was off without a word. I’ll get them, father.
For once, the Manectric didn’t look angry. A rush of worry ran through him, and he looked surprised as the yellow-marked Electrike dashed off spontaneously. Flash let out a ferocious bark, gaining the attention of his pack, but they were already all focusing on the situation. The only ones left fighting were Belue and Oran; they both stared intently at their leader, waiting to follow his orders. But instead of talking, Flash only acted. He leaped over the mess of Penelope and the grunts and followed Grepa and the Ghosts in hot pursuit. Belue and Oran glanced over to Imogene and, forcing to forget about her, ran behind their leader, trying to catch up. The Girafarig strained to get up.
The poisoned Electrike groaned loudly at being left behind.

She watched in shock as Kallan and Vincent made a get away; and realized she didn't have much of a choice but to follow them. There was no way she'd just leave the two of them to deal with those dogs. She stared back towards Belue and Oran, becoming slightly relieved when they followed up with the chase. Staggering to her feet, she glanced towards K. The Elekid looked exhausted. Spirit wasn't, but she was curled up in fright, unaware of what was going around her besides complete chaos. "Thanks, Spirit! K, you're gonna be coming out again. Hang in there!" Returning the two pokemon to their pokeballs, she clipped Spirit's back to her belt and held tightly onto K. After grabbing her bag, she glanced once at the electrike that had been poisoned and the others that had been left, and then broke into a run, following the noise of barking and pawsteps.

The Electrike stared back at Imogene, giving her a wide-eyed, upset look before the girl ran off. Unable to move her limbs, she waited there pethetically for the poison to wear off. Not only was the situation humiliating but slightly unnerving; that Girafarig was staring at her. <Leave me alone,> she muttered. She wanted to feel alone while she waded in self pity..
Flash moved alarmingly fast. Of course, he was a Manectric, but the way he tore through the foliage recklessly make it seem like he was trying to escape a horde of Beedrill. <Grepa!> he barked authoritively, knocking over Oran while he was untangling fur from a thorn bush. But Grepa was going just as fast and was farther ahead from her leader. Her red eyes burned into the flying boy's back, feeling hatred bubble up inside of her. She hated him, that floating head creature, that cowardly wing lady, the braindead giraffe, and- oh god, that Elekid. Once the purple kid was done for, he was next.
Kallan almost laughed at the last-second idea he had created for the little Electrike army. The Haunter knew there was nowhere to run, nowhere to hide- so he planned to float in a circle with Vincent until they tired out or gave up. No worries, he thought, I'm a ghost. I don't use those silly muscles or organs. He worried, though-surprisingly- about Imogene's condition. If it weren't for Vincent's nagging to tag along with her, Kallan and his Gastly friend wouldn't even had fought against these dogs, let alone staying around to see how the battle ended up. But he had to care about the girl, because Vincent did. And without the Haunted Mansion anymore, well, nothing else really mattered.
Time passed as Kallan and Vincent rushed through the trees, taking a course that would hopefully lead them to where Imogene would hopefully be passing, trying desperately to catch ip with the spirits. "Imogene?" Kallan called out, hopefully reaching her. He tried it again and agin, waiting for luck to give him a chance.

Imogene blinked as she heard something call through the trees. She stopped, dropping to put her hands on her knees and catch her breath as she listened. K's pokeball was heavy. She could tell he was tired. When she let him out once more, the first thing she'd do was give him a potion. She stopped and held her breath, listening; she could hear a few distant barks, but really, she had no idea how close they are. But what rang clearer was Kallan's voice; and the familiar sound of her own name. "Kallan?" she responded without thinking, standing up straighter. She looked around and listened again- she hadn't bothered to focus on what direction his voice had come from before. So she repeated. "Kallan? Vincent? I'm over here!"

Kallan felt relief flood over him, hearing that Imogene was close by. "Imogene, I’m coming," he called awkwardly, passing through trees like they were air and finally getting the Masquerain girl in eyesight. Well, that was one thing accomplished. Now there was the problem of getting both him, Vincentand her into safety. And the Electrikes were gaining fast. Really fast. Kallan turned around and nearly flipped out of his gassy figure. The familiar Gastly wasn’t behind him; he had literally just checked a second ago. Where could he have gone at a time like this? But that wasn’t the worst part. He was staring into the eyes of one mean, nasty Electrike hound. The Haunter, at this point, would take his original form to conceal his disguises for quick escapes, but he had no time to. Flash needed to be dealt with, now. He wasn’t going to be fooled or outrun easily. His back was arched, his legs tensing with static buildup. All his frustration was steadily building up into one hefty thunderstorm. <Where. Is. My. Daughter,> he hissed, so upset he started to shake with anger.
..Oh god. That was the only way Kallan could react to the impossible situation they somehow stumbled into.

"Kallan! Where's-" her eyes widened as she looked at who was behind Kallan. ...Vincent... The anger in Flash's eyes was hardly comprehensable. Imogene hardly registered the fact that clouds above were gathering because of him. As Flash spoke, however, she tensed. His...daughter? Who was her daughter? She blinked, remembering the look that the one electrike had given her before she'd run off. Was that her? Maybe...but she had no idea. "What does she look like?" Imogene asked, speaking before she even thought about it. Still, she felt a small twinge of annoyance. His daughter might have been back at the clearing; surely there wasn't anywhere else she could be? Couldn't he figure that out? But, she wasn't about to argue with him. Not with an angry manectric. The air around her cracked with electricity, and she felt a spark hit her hand as K, even within his pokeball, felt it gathering.

The Manectric almost ignored her question and barked at her, but behind him Belue sensed his impatience and spoke next to him quietly. Flash groaned and bit his lip, but he seemed to cool down and let the weather loosen up a bit. <Fine,> he said. He took a step forward in a non-hostile way. <She is the one with the yellow markings and red eyes. She was the one who was after you.> The way he said you and bore his eyes into Kallan made it seem as though the whole thing was his fault. <The fact that she’s not here ripping your throats out means she is missing, or you are hiding her..> He sniffed around, giving the troupe a suspicious look every once in a while. <Wuh..Wait,> called Oran, whose pelt was covered in thorns. <Where’s the floating dust ball?>
All of the dogs stared at Imogene and Kallan. “Umm..”

"We don't have her..." Imogene protested, looking at Flash honestly. Yellow markings and red eyes...the one who was going after Kallan? But Flash was going after him....maybe she had been earlier. Still, she frowned. "She must be back at the clearing. And...we don't know where Vincent is..." she frowned. What a mess this was. When she started out on her journey she had no idea she'd be dealing with this, but it was obvious Flash was angry...still, if they managed to find his daughter, maybe he'd be alright with them and leave...

Flash and Belue looked at Imogene in doubt, and they both looked like they were about to shoot her down when Vincent burst through the trees behind them. His face mirrored confusion and worry, and he seemed a bit ansty to reach his Haunter friend. <Kallan! It’s- woah.> The Gastly’s squeaky, panicky voice suddenly dropped an octave at the sight of the swarm of Electrikes he had just spent speeding away from. He gave Kallan a bewildered look, and guessing by the nod, Vincent had to assume the electrike canines weren’t exactly here to rip them up (yet). He shook his head and focused on what he had been trying to say beforehand. <Oh, yeah.. Okay. Kallan, Bazeedle was just here.> “Bazeedle?” <Yeah, Bazeedle!> <..Bazeedle?> echoed Flash, not understanding who this was (and where his name could possibly come from). <What is Bazeedle?> Vincent froze up for a second, as he was pretty terrified of these Manetrics and Electrikes ever since they came on the scene. <Wuh.. Well, he’s this Duskull, who frankly is really weird and he does these realllllly weird things with his eye and frankly creeps me out but still! I just saw him now, right as I was running away from this Electrike, and he snatched her right out of the air and flew off, before I could say anything about it. Should I be worried about that..?> He turned to look at the murmuring Electrikes and the now distressed Manetric. He couldn’t help but believe the little floating creature for a moment. Belue, though, stayed true to her suspicions and shot a really? look at his leader. Right, thought Flash and he buffed up. <Hmmpf. What exactly is a Duskull, anyway? I don’t believe you.> Flash, though, breathed out and stared at all the creatures that had escaped him and realized there was a slim chance Grepa would be doing anything else but living up to his father’s reputation. <..But, seeing as Grepa’s still not here.. I guess I have nothing else but to take your word. You see, we’re either going to have you force you to tell us the truth, or, if you happen to be right, make sure you get that Bazoodle and bring my daughter back to us. I’m deciding on the latter.> He bit his lip and carried on. <You won’t be going alone, though.>
Flash spun his head around. <Oran! Here on the double!> The beat-up Electrike scurried clumsily to his side- he was having a hard time keeping a straight, serious face. A trickle of blood seeped down from his mouth, one of the targets of Penelope’s frenzying feet. <Accompany them.> Oran’s stomach twisted up, and he nodded his head rather curtly. The blue-marked dog stared at the ground as he sat next to Imogene with a viligant stature. <I’ll make sure they keep on track, Flash,> he said, spitting out a tooth as he did so. The Manectric nodded, giving all four of them a last look before he spoke. <Good, I would only hope. We’ll see you tomorrow morning. Electrikes! Move out!> Flash and Belue turned around and left the scene, nameless Electrikes following. They moved like lightning, disappearing from sight in seconds.
Two things happened at the same moment: 1) Oran hacked up another tooth and fell to the ground, practically crying; 2) Vincent bent over to Kallan and muttered, <He pronounced Bazeedle’s name wrong..>
