Imogene stared blankly at the pokemon as K came back to her, finally snapping out of his confusion. Sparks were still eminating from him, though, and his black eyes blinked as he noticed another source of energy. He turned to the side, noticing the Electrike. <Who're you?> he asked, still slightly frustrated from the battle. Imogene glanced sideways to the Electrike as well, but didn't find it their priority at the moment, so she turned her attention back to the Girafarig and walked over to it, wincing slightly at some of the words the tail was barking out. Crouching down, Imogene sat herself in front of the horse-like pokemon. "Um, are you alright?" she asked. It might have been a stupid question, but if she had a tail with a brain of it's own that was telling her to crush and pulverize something when she didn't want to, she'd appreciate the worry.

The Girafarig raised her head as Imo got closer, not seeming frightened at all as she spoke. <Yeah, I'm fine.> Her words were mostly slurred together, not because she wasn't thinking straight but from a dialect. At that moment, her tail screeched out, <Dooooooom!> and the one in front instantly flared up in irritation. <If I had some of those legs on my be-hind, Tail, I swear I'd kick you in the face!> She spun her neck back around to the girl, murmuring the sentence over, making sure it sounded right. The spiky mouth on the back fired up again, so the Girafarig began to spin its stem around on her own accord, causing it to lose focus and make a strange <Nrrrrrrrrr> sound. Once she stopped though, it seemed too thoroughly confused to speak more. <Dun worry, you get used to a tail that's as stupid as mine. Stupid tail.>

Imogene blinked, still crouched down, leaning back slightly as the Girafarig flared up at the screech of it's tail. Slowly tilting her head sideways, she watched it spin around in confusion after the Girafarig had made it spin. "Um...hmm. Wow. I've never seen a pokemon like you." she smiled a little bit with a small laugh, and then glanced back over to where Kallan and Victor were, before looking back to the horse-pokemon. "Sorry if K injured you at all in our battle. It wasn't even your fault, really, I guess, if your tail was doing all the...uh...talking." she paused, wondering herself if that even made sense. Nonetheless, now that the Girafarig was more casual in her actions than before, the pokemorph couldn't help but feel guilty for having K attack her.

(( Kallan and Victor xD ))
The Girafarig merely grunted in either sympathy, frustration, or a lack of interest; it was unapparent, for she didn’t address it any further. Instead she raised her head up and looked around, eyes dully scanning the area for something, until she spoke up. <I can’t find no berries. Darnit, this day was a waste of time.> She grumbled and slumped her head back down again with a snort. <Darn,> agreed the tail with unexpected sympathy.
The Electrike looked over with docile red eyes, blinking quietly at it gazed over the Elekid. It was a creature she had never seen before.. And although she sat in place, a bit frightened of K’s own interest in her as well, she seemed strangely drawn to his unfamiliar looks and the crackling of electricity that seemed to come off him, just like the fellow Electrikes she knew. (( Ah, Vincent! I knew it started with a V! Sorry haha. xD ))
"Huh? Berries?" Imogene paused for a moment, going over her inventory in her head. Potions, pokeballs...berries. She had some oran berries. Smiling, and glancing momentarily over to the tail as it spoke it's singular word, she looked back down to the Girafarig. "I have some oran berries if you want." she suggested. For some reason her guilt made her feel like it was the least she could do, even though she couldn't be blamed for attacking the Girafarig back. For some reason this just seemed like the right thing to do.
So, still crouching down, she let her bag fall off of her shoulders and she rummaged around inside until she found a small little cloth bag. She pulled out two oran berries from it, smiled as she saw them, and held them out to the Girafarig. "Here. You can have them." she added, as if it wasn't already obvious.
K was still staring at the Electrike and raised an eyebrow, his frustration finally settling down and his usual happy attitude coming back to him, and he let out a little laugh and smiled nervously. "Hah...sorry um...but..." he wasn't sure what to say now. She was just sitting there...doing nothing? Blinking his large black eyes, he let his shoulders drop a bit and then turned slightly to see Imogene passing berries to the Girafarig, and smiled a little more now, more confident in his expression. At least they weren't battling anymore.

The giraffe looked at her intriguedly as she finally mentioned the oran berries she owned. Ears perked, she watched as she dug through her belongings; and once the blue little fruit was shown in plain view, her expression seemed to light up entirely. <Berries! Yeah, those are berries!> Without hesitation, she gleefully dug her muzzle into her palm and slurped the berries up with a blue tongue. Instantly, her tail burst with anger. <Me! Me eat!> He seemed so angry, he had two words in one sentence. The Girafarig swung her head over and glared at her bitter companion. <We share tha same tummy! It’s the same thing!> Realizing this truth, it shut its spiteful mouth. <So stupid..> she repeated to herself, shaking her head. <That tail got nothing going for him.>
It looked as if the Electrike was about to speak, as it leaned forward with a stretched-out paw, but when K averted their gaze, so did she to what he seemed to be looking at. The girl was passing those Oran berries to the long-necked Pokemon.. Although she tried to cover up any change in emotion, the way she stood still with an unwavering stare showed that something had caught her interest. All of a sudden, she was in motion again, quickly fluttering to her feet and dashing off in the other direction, still not a word muttered.

K blinked as he watched the Electrike run off, and shrugged to himself, turning back around to Imogene and the Girafarig. "Haha. That's ok." slinging her bag back over her shoulder, Imogene stood up again. Taking a small breath, she glanced around the clearing again and then back down to the orange and brown pokemon. "So, are you going to be okay?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, just to make sure. It seemed like it would be such a pain to have some...well, thing coming out of your backside and telling you what to do. What a pain in the butt, Imogene thought jokingly to herself, and smiled slightly at her own 'wit', but she didn't say it out loud as she waited for a reply.

<Yeah, a’ course!> The Girafarig immediately jumped to her feet, standing up straight to show she was strong enough to live on her own. <Stuff like this happens all the time.> She nodded to show she was sure, and stood in place until she looked around with a bored look again. <Well.. Bye.> The Girafarig made a 180° and trotted away at a leisurely pace, disappearing through the trees like she was never there. It was distant, but the Tail could be heard from a distance, shouting like a manic at her somewhat-smarter companion..
Kallan waited until the pokemon was completely out of range to turn to Vincent, frowning. “I hate Psychic-types,” he stated bluntly. The Gastly frowned. <She didn’t seem that bad..> He looked over in the direction she had gone, thinking over what he said. <Well, at least the front was.> Kallan couldn’t help but at least agree on that, and nodded his head lightly. Vincent still looked upset, though. <Why would you hate them, anyway?> “Because, Vincent, most of them aren’t even that smart. People think they do, but.. Look at the one we met. Downright dumb.” The Gastly made a disagreeing hmmph at his friend’s insult. <Hey.. don’t go around insultin’ people, Kallan! You’re supposed to be a nice Ghost. Not like Chester, especially, please don’t be like him!> Kallan turned heated as well, also taking offense. “Chester? You don’t know a thing about him, so stop talking like you really know him.. Are you even listening?” Kallan barked as he noticed the Gastly not even making eye contact with him anymore. “Don’t ignore-” The Haunter was ssshed in mid-sentence. <..Listen.> Kallan grudgingly did, and once he strained to hear, he could finally hear the sounds of madly barking dogs and a eerily-familiar voice barking out insults back. Both Ghost-types seemed to turn defensive, readying themselves for battle.
“Something’s coming..”

Imogene waved goodbye to the Girafarig as it left, and K turned around and watched Kallan and Vincent argue. Imogene frowned, wishing she could jump in, and she was relieved when she noticed the Gastly hear something and make a gesture for Kallan to be quiet. Wonder who Chester is. she thought faintly, before she paused as well, hearing the noises. This place was definitely eerie. "Something's...coming?" she muttered, turning around to look around herself in the forest. K frowned as well, looking up at the sky for a moment before peering hard into the trees to try to see something. "What do you think it is?" she asked Kallan and Vincent quietly; it was obvious there were some dog barks, but other than that, she had no idea what pokemon in specific it would have been.

Kallan sharpened his focus on the noises. “I can hear that stupid Girafarig’s tail again, but.. I don’t know what else is there..” Vincent finished his sentence with, <..And that’s what we’re afraid of.> The Ghosts were able to pinpoint where the Pokemon would end up showing once they sounded closer, and keep a watchful eye on that spot. Vincent seemed to wobble back and forth nervously, unlike Kallan who floated as still as a rock. Anticipation grew heavy, until.. <Baahahahhhaugh!> The Girafarig re-entered the scene, screaming strangely and loudly as it fumbled along on its hooves as fast as it could. Either it wasn’t a very good walker or it had been chased for a rather long time, the giraffe stumbled precariously in front of the Haunter. At last, her legs gave in, and the Girafarig fell forward (her tail screaming, <Noooooooooooo,> as she did so). Right through Kallan did she pass, and once she finished collapsing, she looked up wildly at the Haunter. He ignored her, for a more important matter now lay in front of his eyes.
A large pack of lean, wild Electrikes were standing in a huddled formation, their fur bristling with electricity and their heads glowering at the group, but yet a quiet yet hard look of power in their eyes. A few of them looked just like the pictures of their species, but some had some kind of paint in their fur, as for example one had two yellow squareish shapes down her sides. That one Electrike also had an intense red-eyed stare, and looked at the Elekid with familiarity.. but this time, it was not in peace.
<Grepa,> called a member in the front of the pack with purple bands around her legs, <Are these the ones?> The yellow dotted one nodded her head to the question. She did not speak, but one with a blue mark going around his muzzle did. <And this Girafarig.. It was fed, but is not with them.. What do we do with it?> The purple banded one spoke up again, with a bark. <Shush, Oran! We’re right in front of them! Not a word out of anyone else.> She slowly walked up to the largest other being, Imogene, with her back hunch and her focus sharply watching her incase she retaliated. She didn’t seem scared of the trainer, although it didn’t actually know what it was. <Creature, we have come.. For your berries. If you decline, you will have to speak with our leader, who is much more hostile than you imagine.>

(( HAHA! Crap, I saw this coming since the Electrike ran off the first time. XD ))
Imogene took a small step backwards as the Girafarig stumbled in, and she immediately turned to her. "Are you alright!?" she asked, but then followed the pokemon's gaze upwards to where Kallan is, and stared at the spot he was looking at; to see the Electrikes. Blinking, she was at a loss for words as they conversed. As the one Electrike addressed her, she stood up straighter and faced the pack, obviously naive to the danger they might pose. "My...berries?" she asked, and then registered what else they had talked about- she'd fed that Girafarig a berry earlier. There was a faint grumble from K, and she looked down at him. "What? What?" she asked, confused. <Um...hehe...I saw that Electrike earlier.> he pointed to the one with the red eyes. <It saw the berries and then it ran off...I didn't think of mentioning it to you.> he laughed nervously, hunching himself slightly but not taking his eyes off of the Electrike's; sparks were appearing here and there around him thanks to the amount of electricity in the air now, and although it was in his element, it still irked him being outnumbered like they were. "Oh...geez. I only have four berries left, and I'm probably going to need them. I gave them to the Girafarig since I felt bad for fighting her." Imogene explained, and although there was a glimmer of hope in their mind that they would take that information easily and go on their merry way, she doubted it would be so simple.

The Electrike kept a straight face as trainer and starter conversed, but when she explained her situation, she looked a little confused. She was expecting for them to either fearfully give in or cause an uproar in resistance. But she seemed fairly calm.. And didn’t even answer the question. Wait.. That’s it.. They’re stalling!
<Belue..> called a worried Oran from behind. <What is the plan? Will she..?> He tilted his head as he waited for an answer, and as Belue thought quietly to herself, she turned her head to the side to share looks of concern. <Get Flash.> Without further command, three normal Electrikes broke off from the pack and sped quickly the other direction. The pack now began murmuring with each other, unsure what was going to happen with the unexpected turn of events. As everyone awkwardly waited for this so-called “Flash”, Kallan looked down, realizing the Girafarig was still laying there, sending him weird looks. He scowled. “Move it, pony.” The yellow giraffe hmphed as she balanced herself back on four feet. <Mah name is Pen-el-o-pee, for that mattering. ‘Cept for Tail, he’s a whole nuther.. thingy.> The Tail spoke up with a yes of approval.
The Haunter kept a odious glare at her as she did back, until they both flinched from a random bark from nowhere. It’s intensity almost shook the trees, and it certainly found Penelope tottering a bit. Looking back over to the dogs, what know was walking towards them made Vincent squeak in dread.
A towering Manectric was being lead by the three Electrikes, their heads lowered as they crept back into their group. It had a nasty look of his face, not only of its expression but of his sinister facial features. One eye gleamed a ghostly green while the left one seemed to be absent, crimson red stripes following down from the sockets. His legs were covered in an assortment of colors, mixed together in a murky brown that wasn’t at all appealing. Cuts ran down his muzzle; he did not look very old, just.. beat up. The look in his eye, though, seemed scarier than any enemy he could’ve fought.
Flash watched as his pack parted to make a path for him to walk through. As he tread through it, he peered at each of the dogs individually with a look of disproval, although once his vision reached Grepa, he looked away. Planting his feet to the ground and raising his neck, he gave the five in front of him one long, hard stare. He narrowed his eyes, not liking his first impression.
Flash raised his voice, nearly as a bark. <Belue!> The Electrike tightened her muscles and stared down at the ground, knowing he wasn’t happy with their bad work. <Are you telling me..> He turned around and bent down towards her head. <..You can’t deal with these creatures?> When the purple-marked dog could not reply, he slowly started up in a growl, and raised it to a shout as he snapped back other to Imogene.
<Well, what is it? Is it peace or war?> Flash’s teeth were bared as he waited for the answer, his pack following along with snarls and yaps.

Imogene stared forwards in surprise, but her frustration overcame it and she frowned as she waited for "Flash" to come back. She found herself becoming more calm than she would have expected herself to be, and she folded her arms as the Electrike's broke off to get their leader. As the Manectric came in, she stared back at it from behind the thin red glasses on her face, and felt herself tense up. That pokemon wasn't an Electrike in any respect; it was the evolved form. Which meant...it had to have been a great deal stronger. She had no idea what these pokemon were planning to do, but for now, all she could do was try to keep her calm. Although she could hear the Girafarig and the Haunter behind her, she didn't move her eyes away from the Manectric.
K stared at the uglier pokemon with a disapproving look, but it was more aimed at the situation than anything. His eyes looked up towards Imogene and blinked a few times before he let them fall back down to the large pokemon ahead of him. He didn't want to fight that thing, let alone the rest of them...
<Well, what is it? Is it peace or war?> the question made Imogene slightly angry. "What do you think I'm going to choose?" she countered, and her tone of voice was slightly more sharp than she'd expected. "Peace, but I'm sure you've got a different definition than I have for it." she added, straightening herself up as she stared back towards the pack of dog pokemon with thoughts racing through her head. This wasn't something she wanted to deal with, but she couldn't help but be grateful that Kallan and Vincent were with her as well.

A wild gleam appeared in Flash’s eye as he opened it farther, snorting indignantly and tossing his head around like a horse. It was a strange behavior, and the unmarked Electrikes looked at each other with strange faces, but the marks ones did not. Instead, they recognized the leader’s usual way. <What does that mean?!> Flash roared, the air cackling with voltage. <I take your little grudge as a refusal; when I asked you that question, I meant for an straight forward answer!> It was very hard to tell, but Oran had grunted in his place in the Electrike group. Sometimes he takes things to an unnecessary level.. The blue marked Electrike was pulled from his thoughts as the Manectric screamed out, <Electrikes, forward!> His fellow clanmates ran past his sides, pulses of excited electricity running from their fur to his. <Yikes!> He rushed along with them as they barked ferociously at Imogene and friends, aiming for each person but mainly the girl.
Kallan yelled angrily, his hands immediately pulsing with dark, purple aura. Flash had gone for him first, since he appeared to be big (the Haunter had puffed up his body) and dangerous. Well, he’d make sure to keep that dangerous part accurate. His disembodied hands swooped down to the ground, balls of energy slamming into the ground and making explosions of darkness on the ground. It gave some of the younger Electrikes scared, but definitely not the Manectric. He leapt off his legs with a powerful bite, teeth connecting with the Haunter’s wispy body and sending his purple air everywhere.
Grepa had gone right into action as Flash had given his command. Dashing forward with a Quick Attack, she pounced on the Elekid, showing no fear of ripping apart the fellow Electric-type even if a death was not intended for such a small amount of berries that could be won in the fight.
Oran was awkwardly facing a spastic Penelope, and Belue was busy barking up a storm with Vincent, who looked like he was crying as he floated out of range of the Electrike. Two normal Electrikes were trying to butt Imogene onto the ground, and the third one was helping Flash.
(( Normal Electrikes (there are three) are 5, marked ones (Belue, Oran, Grepa) are 7. The Manectric is a pretty high level, but so is Kallan so that works out. ))

((I think I'd be doing what Vincent's doing XDDD ))
Imogene stared forwards, eyes wide; so much for her calm attitude. Apparently that hadn't worked. In shock, she glanced over to K fearfully; the Elekid had fallen to the side of Grepa's attack, and without waiting for a command from Imogene, tore back at her with a Quick Attack, his yellow body spinning before firing at her. With that tiny bit of relief, Imogene watched as two other Electrike's came at her, and tried to get her down. "Ack- don't- leave me alone!" she protested, jumping up and away from them; before she hit the ground, however, she'd...disappeared? In her place was a flying bug pokemon, with the same colours she had, except now she wasn't exactly...human. ((...Pokemorphs can do that...right...? ))
Staring down at them in frustration, she fluttered above them; her mouth opened and bubbles flew out towards the dogs. It wasn't a very strong attack, but she didn't feel like hurting them much, and she was, afterall, only level five. The only thing she had to worry about was whether or not any of them knew an offensive electric attack...considering her types, it would do a lot of damage. Already she was a little exhausted simply from transforming; she'd only done it maybe three times in her life. It wasn't a pleasant experience...at least, not yet, for her.
