The Blaziken scooped the ball up, looking at it for a moment to stare at the resting Wartortle in it, before shrinking it and clipping him to his belt. His eyes flicked up, and he pointed to the smaller turtles, "Go home. This world is not for the likes of you two." Tak blinked, this was odd behavior for his Trainer, but he understood after a moment. Those Squirtle would be in trouble if they didn't have this Wartortle to look after them.

The two squirtles gave one long look at the pokeball that held their friend before wordlessly backing away. They turned a few steps back, in unison before running through the trees around them, passing a nosy oddish who let out a startled noise as they nearly ran over her. They also disturbed two zubats who were eating a berry on a tree over the oddish. Both of the bat pokemon let out a small screech of annoyance before continuing their meal.

Ardeo stood up, looking at the Wartortle again before sighing, "I just need a Bulbasaur and I'll have myself a Kanto Kit-n-kaboodle..." ~What's a kaboodle?~ Tak murmured, thoughtfully looking at the 'Tortle. ~And, why did we catch him again?~ "...It's nothing. And, I figure I'm going to encounter water one day. May as well have something I can cling to." Tak just blinked, and worked on slowly climbing back up to his Trainer's shoulder, ~Are we leaving him?~ Ardeo looked over at where Tak was leaning, to the Raticate peacefully sleeping. "I'm almost afriad to, honestly." he blinked, cracking his neck, "I totally don't have enough Poke'balls for these sorts of adventures. Professors need to start handing out, like, 20 of them."

The raticate didn't move, still dozing off into whatever world he was dreaming about that caused his paws to twitch on occasions. The clearing seemed empty now, and the only other pokemon around was a chatot who was chirping quietly, glancing around as if he was afraid to do anything to loud. Something might come eat him. Farther away from him, a mankey munched on a berry, making loud disgusting noises as he did so.

"And let's just hope there are no more Ekans." the Blaziken murmured, stretching. "Let's go." he murmured, looking at the Chatot for a moment like, 'Whoa, out of place?' before trotting on with a yawn. "Long, long day..." he muttered. ~And this place is scary~ the Charmander murmured, suddenly very glad he always had a night light with him. "Yeah, well..I think the thing with the Ghosts are over. So, we're in the clear I guess."

As if on cue, a scream-like noise came through the trees, and upon closer inspection one could see an eevee dashing at a haunter, using all the attacks in her book but not hitting him at all. He just laughed as the pokemon went through him, then disappeared and reappeared behind her. She was panting and letting out frustrated noises. She backed away from him, and tried to run before a ghastly appeared, running a very long tongue that would seem impossible come time to go back in his mouth, across her face. She fell back, sitting, a dazed look on her face as she shuddered a couple of times, the feeling still rushing through her body. Both the ghost pokemon laughed cruelly.

"Oh, geez, are all the Ghost Pokemon we meet going to be like this?" Ardeo muttered, then brightened, "Oh well, Daemon to the rescue! He hasn't gotten any action since I caught him, the little circus freak. Let's save the day!" Tak blinked a few times, ~Right!~ the Poke'ball was tossed, letting out a Vulpix with black fur and midnight colored eyes. "Go save the Eevee!" both nodded, and Daemon flipped forward with glee. Fights were always fun. But, the Eevee had to get out of the line of fire first. ...Literally.

The eevee's head turned slowly, still in a parylized daze from the attack. She saw the vulpix, but the dark colors confused her and she tried to comprehend them as the fire pokemon bolted towards her. She didn't move, squinting at the rescuer. Both the ghastly and the haunter disappeared, but the laughter stayed. They were watching, and if proper attention was paid one could see their eyes vaguely looming over the pokemon below them.

Daemon lowered his ears in disappointment, he couldn't fight what he couldn't see...Tak on the other hand (or, claw), turned to the Eevee with the friendliest smile he could muster, ~Hi there!~ Ardeo sauntered over after the Ghosts poofed away (though, perhaps not as far as everyone would have liked) and stared down at the fox in confusion. Something was off... ~...She's paralyzed.~ a silky voice murred, Daemon flicked an ear at her, looking almost sorry for her.

The eevee couldn't really comprehend what they were saying, but she did comprehend the sudden appearance of the two ghost pokemon overhead. Her eyes widened and she let out a little squeak of terror. Both of the ghost pokemon's eyes turned a light purple and suddenly an attack invaded the brains of all those around them. Hypnosis. They both laughed. <Sleep well.>

Tak was the first to fall, he was already super tired from all the previous events, the rough shove from Hypnosis was all he needed to get the grass, and curl up like a salamander under a heat lamp. Daemon started off with a yawn, tilted his head to the side, and just flopped over, contently sleeping away. Ardeo looked like he had been hit over the head with something, instantly trying to fight a losing battle. He body said sleep, foo and his mind agreed. Still, he tried hard to make it last; wasn't going to work, he slowly lowered himself to the ground, breathing slower and more evenly, before...Darkness.

It was surprisingly bright around Ardeo in the forest. Ghost Forest couldn't normally be discribed as "bright", and there were tons of abnormal types of pokemon out to enjoy it. Clearly not thinking the strange human would wake up any time soon, a Meowth batted at a leaf rather close to his head. A little farther away, a Teddiursa hummed away, pulling petals off of a rather threatening looking purple flower.
Sprawled at his side, the Eevee lay, still in a daze from whatever the ghost types did. His other pokemon were littered around him.

Tak was the first to wake up, sitting up with his green eyes wide in horror. ~Raah, rur...Rah?~ he flailed his claws around before realizing it was sunny. And there were Normal-types frolicking. ~...Ah...~ he glanced around, looking first at the Eevee, and then to the knocked out form of his Trainer. ~A...Ardeo! Arde! Wake up!~ he poked his Trainer in the face, worried. The last thing he remembered was a bunch of Haunters cackling... "Uugh..." the Blaziken Morph rolled over, throwing an arm over his face. "Nooooo...I dun wanna get up. Sooo tiiiired..." he yawned to emphasize this, pulling his head deeper into the shadows of his arms. ~Ardeo!~ Tak prodded again, looking about himself once more. ~Arde, wake uuuuuuup.~ Suddenly his Trainer popped up, "TAK!" the Pokemorph scooped the lizard up in a hug, "Tak, your alive! Your okay!" the Charmander flailed, mumbling a few incoherant words. "Ooooh, and sunlight. Such a nice change... Look! Normal Pokemon. Ooooh, I'm so happy." he sat back, holding Takerl to him closely - as though afraid someone would take him away. "And little Eevee! Your okay too..." he reached with his spare arm to pet her, smiling lazily. Thank Arceus I'm free from the Ghosts.... For now.

The Meowth stopped playing his game with the leaf and shrunk back from the waking trainer. He eyed the two farther away before letting a strange noise that seemed to blend a hiss and a squeak before taking refuge in a tree close by. The Teddiursa looked up, but didn't seem to mind much and continued pulling on the still menacing looking flower.
Still sleeping, it took Ardeo's yelling to cause movement from the Eevee. The small pokemon's ear let out a twitch, and she put a paw over her face to try and block out the noise. In her half-dream state, she thought over the voice a bit, remembering who she was and leaping to her feet. She shook herself, looking up at Ardeo excitedly, and then around at all the normal types. She briefly glowered at the Charmander, jealous for a moment before being patted on the head by the trainer. At this, she clearly looked pleased and rubbed her face into his hand happily.

The Blaziken blinked at her show of affection, and smiled softly at her before letting Tak go and heaving himself up to stand. He stretched his arms out, letting his bones creak and crack a moment. "Alright! Now that we're free there are a few orders of business to attend to." He rolled his shoulders, cracking his neck. "First, we must find our lost friends." Tak blinked, What? "Second, we must train! We've lost a lot of time in that maze, and who knows what armies Dmitriy could have fought by now! Third order..." he looked down at the Eevee. "Well, the third order is you..." he scratched the back of his head, not sure of how to phrase what he wanted to say. "Look, you don't have to; but I'd like for you to come along with me and Tak and the gang... We'd be able to protect ya."
