These words and a picture of a Sudowoodo too close to the camera appeared on Luke's cellphone as it ringed in it's bag. [/center]

(( o.o... sorry. I didn't notice that you'd posted here, or I would have roleplayed it here... xD;; ))
Luke watched the Primeape, raising an eyebrow as he "thought about it" and then said no. He wasn't expecting any different of an answer. "Well, what could I do or give you for it, then?" he asked, deciding negotiation would be better than starting a fight. Still, if it came to it, he wouldn't have any other choice. "We could battle for it, trade it for something else..." he went over different possibilities outloud until looking at the Primeape. "Unless you have something in mind." He wasn't giving this guy a choice. Although Luke was a bit scared of the Primeape, if it attacked, he'd let out either Taraji or Shaoran..and hopefully they'd be able to fight it off. Nonetheless, he couldn't help but think about how weird it was that a Primeape that collected stuff would just sit back and chill in the middle of a desert. Oh well- it was pretty convenient anyways.

The Primeape thought about this, resting his face against his hand and looking aimlessly into the sky above Luke. <You know, normally I would.> He said, voice filled with a patronizing tone, <But I don't really like the Cubone who I aquired it from, so I don't think I will. Well, I guess if you offer high enough I would. Like, say, 2000 steps. Other than that, I don't think so. As for battling, you might rethink that.> He snapped his fingers and two large figures peaked over the junk pile. The Centrios walked around the pile, shaking their heads and upper bodies to stretch. They had just been sleeping. They glanced in Luke's direction, then back at the Primeape. <What do you need, boss?> One said roughly. <Need us to take care of 'em for ya?> The other said, just as rought as he jabbed a thumb in Luke's direction, without even bothering to look at him.
The Primeape grinned but shook his head. <We'll let him decide that.> He said smugly, popping his knuckles as he waited for Luke's response.

Luke blinked as the two pokemon came out, a little surprised this Primeape had it's own lackies. Even though pokemon were his forte, or whatever that word was, he barely recognized these two pokemon. They were familiar, though...maybe they were one of the new ones being added to the Sasqui Pokedex. The Sasqui City Lab was at the head of that; or it was, before it got destroyed, apparently... I wonder who did that... he thought absently, and then returned his focus to the two pokemon. For whatever reason, he wasn't too intimidated. They were just pokemon, after all, right? It was a tough decision, though. It would be a double battle one way or another...he had four pokemon...he could probably handle them. Unfortunately, it was impossible to tell their level currently. And the primeape might want to get involved, too...what if it was too much of a risk?
One glance back at the Cubone though, and he knew he'd made up his mind. "They can try." A faint grin showed up on his face. He'd have to be confident in order to even have a chance; these things were intense. It was easy to tell they were fighting pokemon though...so Bug, Dark, and Rock moves would do nothing. That didn't limit him too badly, except that Thorne would do terrible. Flying, though...that was a bit different. Shaoran wouldn't do very well, since his one move was Bite, and that was dark too...it would barely scratch them. So, he only had two pokemon he could use, but at least they'd be at an advantage.
"Seb, Taraji- let's go!" he said, throwing out the two pokeballs. The Doduo and the Tropius appeared, facing the two Centrios.

The two bodyguards glanced back at the Primeape. That was not supposed to happen. They were supposed to look intimidating, not actually defend. The Primeape knew this, but still flicked his fingers forward with no hint of an explaination on his face. They glanced at each other, then snorted in unison and faced their challengers. Both of them did the same thing. Well, close to the same thing. The one fighting Taraji casted out with a Leer, while the other used Scary Face. Both of them looked a little strange doing the moves at once, however it did boost their fearsom apperance. Glowering and looking intimidating is what they did best, after all.

Luke watched the attacks and frowned, watching as Seb shook his head from the attack, while Taraji stood and felt his defense lower. "Taraji; Gust! Seb, Quick attack and Peck!" Luke called, jogging a few steps backwards in the sand as he watched carefully.
The Tropius didn't take a step, but instead flapped his large leafy wings, sending a gust of wind towards the Centrio that had used Leer against hi in the first place. Thanks to their surroundings, the wind picked up sand, as well. Seb seemed to get the idea of what Luke was saying, and sped forwards with a quick attack. Instead of trying to attack with his body, however, he lunged forwards with his beak at the centaur pokemon, using peck.

The first Centrios shielded his face from the Gust, taking steps back. He squinted and got sand in his eyes. He rubbed vigorously before charging at the large leafy green pokemon with a Tackle attack. The other wasn't quite as manly about it, and let out a yell and charged in the opposite direction, hearing the wing beats rush by him as the attack missed. He cowered to the side, his arms over his head, shaking. He did not like fighting. Once he had gained himself, he sniffed once and let out a snort before turning to Luke. He wasn't going to bother with the flying type. Instead, he'd get the trainer. With something that seemed to be a bow, he stopped with his head lowered, shoulders forward, and hands out. Remaining in this position, he rushed forward, flinging his arms out in front of him hoping to throw the trainer off his feet.

Taraji wasn't fast enough to dodge and got hit by the tackle. Being such a large pokemon, he only skidded a bit in the sand, and then used leer at the Centrio, lowering it's defense before trying to use Gust once more.
Luke blinked as the other Centrio ran in the other direction; and then gaped as it started coming towards him. "G-gah!" he turned to try to run backwards, but slipped on the sand as it shifted beneath his feet. Rolling over onto his elbows to see the pokemon still charging, he rummaged for a pokeball, throwing it out. "Shaoran!" he called desperately; the Entei appeared, small for it's size but still the size of an Arcanine, taking the attack from the Centrio for Luke. Breathing heavily, Luke managed to stand up, and put a hand to his head. That was scary. It must be stressful having to actually be a pokemon and put up with that...As a trainer, he only watched. The fear factor never came into play for them.
"Seb! Peck again!" he called, poking his head around the Entei, which glared down at the Centrio as the much smaller Doduo came running into the picture again.

The Gust attack and the Leer hit their target, severly hurting the bodyguard. He wasn't feeling weak, being a high level, but he was still disliking the way the battle was going. He wasn't made to battle. He charged quickly with another tackle at the Tropius. As the Entei and him made contact, he felt a bit of recoiling pain from the premature hit he was not expecting. He reared back and charged again, this time at the Tropius. If both of them attacked, they could overcome at least one pokemon. And who said he had to attack a different one?

Seb staggered, missing his opponent once again, not used to missing. <Stupid things,> one head chirped angrily, <We'll teach them!> for once, it was clear they had both been pissed off to the same extent, and weren't so focused on arguing against each other as they were actually battling. Without any directions from Luke, they attacked the Centrio that had originally been fighting Taraji, using the Quick attack and peck combination once more.
Taraji, meanwhile, dodged the first tackle. However, by doing this, he jumped right into the other one's attack, being hit on the side. Falling sideways, it took a moment to get back onto his feet, shaking himself a bit, clearly hurt. "Taraji!" Luke called, his grey eyes wide with worry. The Tropius was already taking a pretty big beating. He stuck a hand into his bag, finding the familiar bottle shape of a potion, and held onto it, keeping it ready should the Tropius need to be healed; and he probably would have to be if things kept going like this...For now, though...he couldn't give up! "Gust again!" he called, and the Tropius obliged, now attacking the Centrio that had hit him.

The Centrio that had managed to avoid two Peck attacks without really noticing, was hit square on by the third. He hadn't expected this, and quickly withdrew from his attack on the Tropius and looking around angrily to find his attacker. When his eyes locked on to the only pokemon out that knew Peck, he glared angrily at the Doduo and charged at them instead, arms back, readying a tackle.
The other Centrio on the other hand was backing away from the Tropius and Entei. He looked around for his friend, and found the other bodyguard locked in his own combat. Looking scared, he shot a look at the Primape who was looking smugly down at the battle, clearly not knowing they weren't in the best shape. It took a while to decide which was scarier. The large fire dog and grass type in front of him, or the fuzzy ball that would surely seek revenge if he left. But, after a second or two he had made his decision and make a quick turn and ran off, making long, quick strides across the desert ground and kicking up a cloud of dust in his path.

Luke watched blankly as the Centrio stared between Taraji and Shaoran, and then took off across the desert. He lifted a hand to his mouth as he tried not to laugh out loud. Taraji and Shaoran both exchanged glances, and then looked expectantly at Luke. "Taraji, stay out. Shaoran, thanks." he let out a small breath of relief as he returned the Entei, who dipped it's head before disappearing in a red flash. The pokeball clipped back to Luke's belt, and then the boy lifted his head to stare at the situation again as Taraji lumbered back to stand next to him.
Meanwhile, Seb couldn't dodge the tackle in time and fell back. It hit hard, and he skidded along the desert sand until his footing gave and he fell on his faces. ((o.O)) Grumbling to himself, he stood up and shook himself off. As he did so, the two heads collided and for a moment they dizzied, until they shook again and regained themselves.
Luke frowned a bit as he watched. Seb was still holding out, but for how much longer? "Come on Seb!" he called, hitting the bottom of his fist into the palm of his hand. "Quick Attack!" Their feet speeding up as well as their movements, the Doduo sped forwards again after figuring itself out, aiming towards the Centrio once more.
Luke, meanwhile, lifted his grey gaze up to where the Primeape was. If he won, hopefully the monkey would listen to reason and let Luke get the Cubone's bone back. He didn't want to have to battle the monkey. For all he knew, it would be a lot stronger than these two- but then again, he didn't know.
