((OOC: If anyone asks where the title came from, its a Japanese song sung by Vocaloid IA. Oh, and go ahead and join in if you're in the area. I don't mind. =) ))
Standing near the entrance of Ridgewood Forest, Mystique Forester and her first Pokemon, a Ralts named Lily stood there. The Ralts was waiting on her trainer. Mystique examining the forest. She
"Lily, how good is your memory? Since your a Psychic type, it's pretty good, right?" asked Mystique in fear of getting lost or stuck in the forest. Lily nodded, though she was obviously unsure of it. Mystique swallowed and started walking inside, being careful to watch her step. Lily followed along with her. It wasn't that bad, but Mystique was sure it was going to get worse...

Three Murkrow watched the girl advance through the forest, their red eyes glowing slightly in the eerie light of the foggy forest. One gave a small, "Krow!" before taking flight ahead of her, and disappearing into the trees and grey mist. A few puddles littered the path she chose, mist and steam rising from them. A Tympole was rolling around in the water, seeming to enjoy itself rather immensely in the wet water. The round water-type was pointedly ignoring a Bellsprout that clung to a tree not far from the puddle it was playing it - too shy to approach. None of the wild Pokemon gave the girl much thought, except the remaining Murkrow, who looked down at her like they might look at a Caterpie.
Other than these Pokemon near her, the forest was silent; it was like the fog was eating up any noise other Pokemon or Trainers might be causing. Even the path ahead of her was shrouded in the off-white color, with only dark silhouettes to indicate the closest trees. The path behind her was a little more clear...As though the fog clung only to Ridgewood itself, and was not as natural a phenomenon as people would like to think.

As the Ralts and the girl continued on, they both noticed the fog crawling in, now quite thick. Mystique had never gone this far in before, and both her and Lily were getting a bit shaky. Mystique had the feeling that she was being watched, and Lily had an even stronger feeling of this.
As a dark bird cawed and flew past her, Mystique let out a small "Eek!" and ducked. Lily stepped in a puddle, her small white legs now a bit wet. The small helmeted Pokemon noticed a small blue, tan, and black Pokemon playing in a puddle near her. Mystique noticed it too but didn't know if it was friend or foe. Lily decided that the Pokemon was most likely a friend as she chose to start up a conversation with it.
"<Mr.Tympole, can please you tell me which way is out? Not the way we came, of course, >" Lily asked hoping the Pokemon would answer.
Mystique knelt down at the two Pokemon's level and smiled. It was cute seeing Lily talk to the other Pokemon. Or at least she thought that's what they were doing. Figuring there was no better time to do this, Mystique pulled out her new Pokedex and pressed a button that she thought she saw someone on TV press to scan a Pokemon, in hopes of the same result.

The Tympole ceased it's frolic as the question was asked, looking confused. 'Out? Who would want to do that? As he was about to reply, he heard a click and watched as the Pokedex came to life.
Tympole the Tadpole Pokemon. Tympole can emit subsonic waves from their cheeks, these waves are imperceptible to most humans and used to communicate. When in danger, their cheeks will emit a high-pitched sound to warn others.
The wild Tympole stared at the red device for a long moment before bouncing, once, to clear his head. ~Out?~ he spoke, looking concerned. He'd never really thought about it. He knew his way to the small lake and a few surrounding berry trees, but out? He'd never needed to go 'out' before. What was out there anyway?
