"AAAAAAAACHOO!" Kaki sneezed. She rubbed her nose, looking around at the scenery. It wasn't as if it were cold and she was getting sick, right? Then why did she feel so crappy? Remember that old saying? It's not the heat that'll kill you? It's the humidity? The air was so humid at the moment, hot and sticky. The temperature wasn't that high, but the air was too thick to breathe! It was making Kaki come down with a sneezing fit. Rubbing her nose, she continued to walk, Hone at her heels, Jill trotting along in front of her. The tiny sheep pokemon had seemed pretty excited about going on an adventure.
<Hone-san,> Jill called, turning her head back. <How are you?> <Fine.> Hone answered quietly, continuing along after Kaki. Jill slowed down, running towards the Cubone with a tilted head. <You don't sound fine.> <I'm fine.> Jill decided to leave it at that, walking alongside Hone and Kaki. Kaki frowned, sitting down for a moment and digging around in her bag. She had to have some trail mix or something. Sure enough, she found two bags: one bag of pokemon food, one bag of trail mix. She picked up the bag of trail mix and began to walk again, swinging her backpack over her shoulder.
"Ne, you two are lucky you don't mind this weather," Kaki mumbled, rubbing her forehead lightly. She popped a couple of the nuts from her trail mix into her mouth, then turned down and offered one to Hone and Jill. Jill shook her head, whereas Hone didn't mind taking the nut and tasting it. After a moment of chewing, and after several pieces got stuck in his throat, he decided he didn't like nuts. "Are you two holding up ok? Need a break or anything?" "Cubone," Hone replied, dismissing the question. Jill, however, was tired. She sort of wanted to walk with Hone, but she also wanted to take a break. Deciding to tough it out, the small sheep shook her head no.
"Alright." Kaki suddenly giggled, a thought coming to her mind. "I wonder if pokeballs are air-conditioned..."

((I'm just gonna go with the idea that Kaki said the last comment out loud.)) <No, they are not. It grows very humid in those infernal plastic traps you call pokeballs.> A hoarse whisper of a voice replied to the girl's rhetorical question, it's cold demeanor weighing down on any warm feelings that were present at that moment. Along with it came a faint smell of freshly caught fish, mingled with mold and a tinge of body odor. Overall, whoever was the owner of these sounds and smells was guaranteed to be unpleasant company. A sudden fit of wheezing from the piercing voice would give Kaki enough time to pinpoint the source of the unfriendly creature. Standing between a pair of bushes was a purple, leather-skinned creature dressed in brown rags, leaning over as it shoved it's hand over its pale, sickly face to stifle his coughs. There was one thing about the creature, however, that failed to come off as creepy, and that was the dazzling, transparent diamond eyes that caused light to bounce off it in a dazzling array of spots. These dots of sunlight moved sporadically around as the cloaked creature coughed so hard it lost balanced and tumbled right into a nearby bush. <Oh, bugger. This bush is rather displeasing to me.> It fumbled around a bit but it really seemed hopelessly tangled. <I require some assistance, young lady! I beg of you..> But all she would hear was <Sableye, eyeyeye.>

{ I LOVE SABLEYE~ They're so awesomely creepy.} Kaki turned, brow perked, at the fit of wheezing, only to see the Sableye in the bush. She stared at it for a moment, stepping forward as the pokemon continued to 'speak'. What it was saying, Kaki had no idea, but she did know that the poor, mostly ugly creature, to her, was... "Kawaii~!" Her Kaki-senses tingled, and she came to realize that the pokemon was tangled in the bush. She kneeled down next to it, trying to work out how the poor thing would get out. Hone rolled his eyes slightly at his trainer, and hung back slightly. Jill followed Kaki towards the Sableye, stepping back after the offensive smell became known. She was not sticking around to figure out what could have made that disgusting odor. Well, she did know. That Sableye. Curiously, Jill asked, from a safe distance, <How long have you been stuck in there?> Jill turned back to Hone, a bit flustered that he wasn't going to come to help, and noticed that he was examining a slight chip on his bone. <Hone-san, come here!> Hone blinked, snapping out of his curious examination, and stepped towards Jill, bone in hand. <What?> <Hone, why don't you help Kaki?> <I dunno what to do. Let her figure it out. She's the one with thumbs.>

((Me too.)) The Sableye heard Jill's comment and spat, <Just this moment, you twit! Get me out!> He was stuck on his back, doubly screwed as the cloth that he wore were pierced onto the branch and needed some serious tugging to rip them loose. <It's very uncomfortable in here! Please!> Although his voice was metallic before, it seemed to bridged into a tone a little warmer and a little more, well, whiny. The Sableye tried his best to look towards Jill from the position he was stuck in. <There are people I need to see, need to guide so I really need to get out. I will alliance with you for the moment.> He bared his dangerously sharp teeth at the sheep, trying to lift his lips to form a basic friendly smile. It proved too hard for him, though. <Just get me out of here.>

Hone sighed dismissively, stepping forward, already knowing who would be asked to do the job. Bone ready in hand, he raised his weapon over his shoulder, resting it on the edge and looking to his trainer. "Bone." Kaki turned to Hone, and, with a smile, realized that Hone actually had an idea! She couldn't help but pick up the cubone and squeeze him close to her, smiling widely. "Aw, Hone-kun, you're so smart~!" "BONE!" Hone protested, shaking his legs and swinging his arms to the greatest extent that he could. When Kaki -finally- put him down, he shook himself off, raising his bone and bringing it down on the far side of the bush, attempting to break some of the branches the Sableye was hooked on using his Bone Club.
Jill watched from afar, confused. Why did Hone just...?

The Sableye’s body flinched as the bone crashed down, shattering many twigs from the base of the bush. It did leave one side of him free to move, but now he had pieces of the sticks in his tunic sticking out like a porcupine. <Bugger,> he thought out loud, trying to tug one out hastily. While tugging aimlessly, the creature looked over to Hone’s weapon of choice as he began to draw it back out into the open. <Wait!> he cried, suddenly reaching out to clasp his fingers around the base of the bone. <Pull me out!>

Hone would have raised an eyebrow if he thought anyone could see it. Instead, however, he obliged, allowing the Sableye to grasp his bone and took a step back, leaning backwards, then forwards, then jerking backwards again. Kaki, seeing what her pokemon was trying to do, crawled around to the other side of the bush and reached in to attempt at breaking off one of the branches the Sableye was stuck to.
Jill, meanwhile, looked on in a curious daze. A moment passed, however, before she darted forward and around Hone, and, with great difficulty given the lack of jaws and hands, positioned herself partway on his bone and attempted to push Hone back and off the ground.
