Verde paused for a moment as the Growl echoed through his ears. Verde was stressed- fighting two pokemon on his own was too much responsibility for him to juggle, and he had to figure out what each was doing so he could avoid them with his best effort.
However, he didn't have the energy to do so. Ai rammed into him, slamming him against the ground and forcing a squeal out of Verde. Immobilized and pinned to the ground, the Turtwig groaned and tried to raise his head, but he dropped it and went out like a flame.
Verde has been defeated! Ai gains two levels! Jill gains a level. [/center]

Ai, who had so eagarly jumped into the fight just moments ago, was speechless. The silver eevee stared at the KO'd Turtwig, panting slightly, and smiling to herself in satisfaction. Proceeding to chase her tail in a fit of overwhelming joy, all that came to the Eevee's mind was, <I win! In your face!> <Ai, but, we both won,> Jill commented meekly, poking her head into Ai's dramatic scene of tail-chasing. Whatever joy in Ai's mind faded away for the moment as she realized that it was true, she hadn't won on her own. But she was outnumbered, so she shouldn't be expected to win on her own. <A win's a win!> Ai declared. Jill was about to say something, but decided not to.
"Alright!" Kaki cheered, sharing Ai's enthusiasm as she walked towards the pokemon with Hone lingering in the background. "Hey you guys," she called affectionately, kneeling down to the two and reaching forward in an attempt to scoop one of them up and hug them like she had done to Hone. Hone quietly thanked the lord he wasn't the one being offered hugs this time. Ai, too excited to hold still, continued to chase her tail while Jill turned her head to her trainer, curious, and quietly nuzzled the palm of Kaki's hand rather than leaping into her arms in full-on sentimentality. "You're awesome, you two."
Hone, standing in the background, stared on and tilted his head. Affection wasn't something he had received at the lab, not particularly. Especially with that Gilgar, he was left out to dry until a trainer crazy enough to pick a pokemon that didn't even know any attacks came along. Slowly, Hone made his way closer to the scene, raising a single bone to tap on the shoulder of his trainer, unsure of whether he wanted to be included in the scene, or if he just wanted them to get back on the road. Either way, a bit of time to himself would have been appreciated, but who's to say he wouldn't have enjoyed some time on the road as well? <Will we be going soon?> The cubone asked, the question coming out as a simple, "Bone?"
Ai, who had been chasing her tail to the point of falling over, effectively putting herself in a confused state, perked an ear, another tiny grin coming across the Eevee's muzzle. <Yeah, let's get this show on the--ow, my stomach!> she called, turning away to... This is why we don't let the hyper Eevees chase their tails from now on. Jill turned to look at the overly hyper eevee, turning her head away when she realized Ai had just caused more damage to herself chasing her tail than the Turtwig had (figuratively, but close enough.) <Maybe she should go back in the pokeball,> Jill asked sheepishly. <No, Mother, I love spaghetti with my mashed potatoes.> Hone shook his head, sighing and flipping the bone over his shoulder. "Bone?" "Alright, alright, let's get a move on." Kaki smiled to herself, reaching for Ai's pokeball and calling the dizzied pokemon back into the ball. "Never a dull moment, huh?" And with that, the three (and the one in the ball) continued on. {I'd like to end it there, since I'm gonna lose track of what happened. God I missed this place. XD}
