[/li][li]Name: Spencer Konpaku. My last name means ghost in Japanese.
About Me
[li]Picture:
[/li][li]Gender: I'm a guy.
[/li][li]Age: 24
[/li][li]Species: I'm a Sableye Pokemorph, as you can plainly see.
[/li][li]Appearance:
Well, people say I'm tall since I'm nearly six feet high. I'm very skinny with long, spindly arms and legs, and others often remark on the paleness of my skin. They say it makes me look like I'm near death. I guess it makes sense since I love ghost types, eh? I also hunch over just a teensie bit. Anyways... my hair is spiky and black, and my irises are colorless, so it looks like I only have pupils. Rather than human ears I have spiky Sableye ears that are deep purple. My teeth also are sharper than the average human's. I guess that there's no wondering why I tend to creep others out.
Now, onto my apparel. I have a pair of Sableye goggles, each lens in the shape of a diamond. When I'm not working on building something, I wear those goggles on my forehead. I normally wear a purple long-sleeved shirt which has spikes on the elbow sections, and has gems attached- one ruby on the chest and three more gems on my back, two of which are sapphires while the remaining is also a ruby. Paired with that shirt is also a pair of black jeans. For shoes I generally wear purple sneakers with black shoe laces.
[/li][li]Personality:
Well, to start with, I prefer solitude over crowds. I have a minor case of claustrophobia, so being lost in a large crowd and being jostled around all the time just makes me darn uncomfortable. I also prefer being indoors rather than staying out in the sun. Why else do you think my skin is so pale? And no- just because I hate sunlight does not mean I'm a vampire... Yea, I get annoyed when people think I'm undead. Just because I'm part ghost type and love ghost types does not actually make me a ghost! Sheesh...
Obviously, my favorite Pokemon type is that of the Ghost type. Their powers simply intrigue me, and they often also share my same preference for solitude. I actually find it strange because I'm generally the opposite of them. I don't like pranks very much. I actually try to be as nice and helpful as possible. I only seem to creep out people even more because of that, though. They all think I'm merely feigning it all and that I'm actually planning a malicious scheme. While that is false, I do have some ghost-like- or at the least Sableye-like qualities. I love shiny things and collect them whenever I can, and have an even larger obsession over rocks and minerals. Seriously, I have a whole pile in my room. Thankfully, however, I do not eat them. I merely like staring at them.
I also love the Pokemon Rotom. Ever since I was a child they fascinated me, and ever since I first saw how one possessed a TV it's been my hobby to tinker with various electronic appliances to see how they work. Seriously, you have to admit that it's cool how they can enter and control appliances! So, yea... I love building things and then testing them out by having Ikazu possess them. Sometimes I actually wonder how I survived this long with my building hobby. You see, I'm also quite clumsy and trip over things quite a lot since I'm so tall. It's a bit embarrassing, which, I guess, contributes to the fact that I love being by myself indoors. No one can see me trip.
[/li][li]History:
I was born in the Sinnoh region in the town of Eterna. As a kid I actually loved going outside all the time since there wasn't anything to do indoors. My favorite exploring place was the Eterna Forest. Now, I assume you all know of the classic haunt there? Well, I usually steered clear of the Old Chateau. Everybody always stayed away from there, and my parents always warned me not to go there. However, there was that fateful night when I had no choice but to go visit the Chateau. There was a thunderstorm and my home was too far away and I had gotten lost, so I was forced to take shelter in the Old Chateau.
There I was wandering around the house until I came upon a room with a T.V. It was glowing with a blue color, and so I poked it, and the Rotom possessing it woke up and scared me away. Luckily by then the storm had passed, so I was out of the Chateau and back at my house soon after. However, I just couldn't resist coming back to the Chateau. Despite the fright the Rotom gave me, it fascinated me. So I would often go back and sit in front of that T.V. and stare at it, as if I was watching a T.V. program. Later I also discovered that there were other ghosts inhabiting the building, and I eventually grew calm when I was there, rather than being scared. The Rotom and I became friends, and I soon started asking him if he could possess other objects, which he could. So I soon made it my hobby to build things and have him possess them.
It was after that that I started staying indoors more often, only coming outside in the evening to travel to the Chateau. Eventually the Rotom let me catch him and so my first Pokemon was Ikazu. I also added Tama to my team, and soon I started on getting all the gym badges in the Sinnoh region, adding more members to my team along the way. However, when it came to the league, I lost, and so I decided to train some more by going to the Sasqui region. There, I learned that the Tarro Gym was open, and I conveniently had all ghost types in my team, so I leapt at the chance to take over, and here I am today.
[/li][li]Other:
I have a slight obsession with Rotom. It's just such an awesome Pokemon. Also, I collect rocks and crystals. Well, maybe not collect, it's a tab bit more obsessive than that... I have a whole pile of them sitting in a corner of my room. Heh heh...

About the Team
*Note: The movesets listed here are those that the team would have if Spencer was battling someone with quite a few gym badges. For those with a small amount of gym badges, the Pokemon would have weaker moves and be at previous evolution stages depending on the level. Also, Spencer has a Secret Key, so he does have access to Rotom's other forms. However, he'll only use Rotom's other forms when battling tough opponents, and he won't have Rotom switch forms within battle. Whatever form Rotom is in when the battle starts, Rotom stays in that form.
[li]Name: Ikazu
[/li][li]Gender: Male
[/li][li]Species: Rotom
[/li][li]Personality:
He's my first and favorite Pokemon. Ikazu is highly curious and mischievous, studying everything new that he sees and possessing any appliance he can. Often when he possesses something, he takes the appliance on a 'joy ride' of sorts and loves freaking people out with it. In fact, don't be surprised if you see something like a robotic arm trying to poke you when you're trying to go through the gym. Just thought I'd warn you.
[/li][li]Battle Style:
He's a range-attack-only battler, and tends to keep his distance.
[/li][li]Moves: Shock Wave :: Ominous Wind :: Confuse Ray :: Uproar
[/li][li]Ability: Levitate- Means that you can't KO him with ground moves.
[/li][li]Name: Kurai
[/li][li]Gender:Female
[/li][li]Species: Sableye
[/li][li]Personality:
Kurai is very much like the average Sableye: She loves to creep around in the shadows and munch on any kind of rock or mineral that she can get. However, unlike other Sableye, she doesn't ever seem to have the urge to pull a trick on someone. She's quite docile, actually, and prefers annoying people in other ways, her favorite being sitting down in front of you and staring at you for a long time without moving, while giving a smile that would creep nearly anyone out.
[/li][li]Battle Style:
She focuses on dodging when possible and attacking when the opponent leaves his guard down. However, she can get a little reckless when she thinks she has a sure victory.
[/li][li]Moves: Shadow Ball :: Zen Headbutt :: Power Gem :: Faint Attack
[/li][li]Ability: Keen Eye- Accuracy won't ever lower. :: Stall- Always attacks last.
[/li][li]Name: Tama
[/li][li]Gender:Female
[/li][li]Species: Gengar
[/li][li]Personality:
Tama is extremely nosy about everything. If someone's keeping a secret, she simply has to know what and why. This is why she absolutely loves using hypnosis and then dream eater. That way she can find out at least something about her opponents in battle. That's why I always keep her in her Pokeball whenever I sleep. Although, she already pretty much knows everything about me...
[/li][li]Battle Style:
She's also a range-attack battler, preferring to hide and strike when the opponent isn't looking. Her favorite move combination is hypnosis followed by dream eater.
[/li][li]Moves: Dark Pulse :: Shadow Ball :: Hypnosis :: Dream Eater
[/li][li]Ability: Levitate- Same as Ikazu''s ability.
[/li][li]Name: Sakarau :: Nickname- Rau
[/li][li]Gender: Female
[/li][li]Species: Shiny Banette
[/li][li]Personality:
Rau is perhaps the second most annoying Pokemon in my team, right after Punch. She loves to be a know-it-all at everything and enjoys proving others wrong all the time. Whenever she successfully proves someone wrong, she loves to rub it in your face until you're on the brink of wanting to murder her. Oh, wait, she'll just say then that you can't kill her because she's already dead. See what I mean? She is quite a good battler, though, if you get around her annoying-ness.
[/li][li]Battle Style:
Loves to annoy and frustrate her opponents and watch them suffer. She can let her guard down when she is having too much fun.
[/li][li]Moves: Shadow Ball :: Faint Attack :: Sucker Punch :: Spite
[/li][li]Ability: Insomnia- She can't sleep. :: Frisk- She tells me what the opponent's held item is.
[/li][li]Name: Kori
[/li][li]Gender: Female
[/li][li]Species: Froslass
[/li][li]Personality:
Kori is the beauty of the team. She loves to show off with the gracefulness of her moves and make other Pokemon envy her. She's quite vain, and is always jealous of the other females on the team. She always expects to be the center of attention, and giggles a lot...
[/li][li]Battle Style:
Kori loves to dazzle her opponents with her various range-attack moves, and expects you to stay still and watch. If, however, you stop paying attention to her in some way, then she'll move in close to slap you.
[/li][li]Moves: Blizzard :: Ominous Wind :: Icy Wind :: Wake-Up Slap
[/li][li]Ability: Snow Cloak- Evasion is raised during a Hail Storm.
[/li][li]Name: Punch
[/li][li]Gender: Male
[/li][li]Species: Shiny Dusknoir
[/li][li]Personality:
Everyone thinks I gave Punch his name because of his moveset, but actually it's nowhere near that reason. After all, I met Punch as a Duskull, and Duskull can't learn any kind of elemental punch. Anyways... I first found him haunting a bowl of punch. Yes I mean punch as in that fruity drink that's often served in bowls at parties. Punch is probably the silliest Pokemon in my whole team. He loves haunting liquids of various sorts and makes fun of others all the time. His most common parody, in fact, has to do with Captain Falcon. He's keeps doing the Falcon Punch so often, though, that it's starting to get on everyone's nerves...
[/li][li]Battle Style:
He's a physical-attack user. The only one on my team, so I guess he'd be the oddball. He'll use different elemental punches depending on your weaknesses. he's quite slow, but powerful when he lands a punch, so watch out.
[/li][li]Moves: Fire Punch :: Ice Punch :: Shadow Punch :: Thunder Punch
[/li][li]Ability: Pressure- Waste more PP when you use a move on him.
[/li][/ul][/size]
About the Gym
[li]Which Gym: I run the Tarro Town Gym, home of the ghost types.
[/li][li]Gym Badge and TM: The Glaring Badge :: TM 30- Shadow Ball
[/li][li]Gym Layout:
The entire gym is made to look like an abandoned warehouse, with mist swirling everywhere. Those who want to challenge me have to navigate their way through the mist and the many walls of boxes and broken-down machinery. There are three gym trainers in the warehouse who you will encounter along the way. You have the opportunity to heal at any time between battles.
[/li][li]Gym Trainers:
Psychic Bob
Personality: Rather proud of himself and always predicts that his opponents will lose. Unfortunately, his predictions usually turn out wrong...
Pokemon: Male Ghastly :: Male Misdreavus
Psychic Kira
Personality: She aspires to be a gym leader. However, she still has a long way to go and is quite a sore loser when it comes to battles.
Pokemon: Female Drifloon :: Male Sableye
Ninja Tobu
Personality: He is a rather excitable fellow, and often has a hard time hiding because of his anticipation for a good battle.
Pokemon: Male Spiritomb :: Male Ghastly :: Female Duskull
