The Survey of the Ranch Boy Chris.
He will also go around with a Hot Dog stand through his whole journey. Don’t ask.
Interviewer: Welcome Mr….what may I call you Ser?
Chris: It’s Chris, name’s Chris. Chris Walker! Heh heh…
Interviewer: Well then welcome Mr. Walker. You will need to answer a few questions; lets say… a Survey, before you are able to enter the Sasqui Region.
Chris: What!? A Survey? Why do I have to take a Survey!?
Interviewer: It is mandatory for all aliens entering the Region is all, so please cooperate with me on this. You do wish to enter the Region, don’t you Mr. Walker?
Chris: Why don’t ya just call it a Country? Or what…is it a colony or something? Oh like the Caribbean?
Interviewer: Sigh…Anyway, shall we begin now Mr. Walker?
Chris: …Yeah…
Interviewer: Alright, first is Name. Your full name is Chris Walker is it?
Chris: Well yeah, Chris is really jus short for Christopher really…but no one calls me by that, nor by my last name…
Interviewer: All right then, second question. What is your Age?
Chris: I’m about….34? Yeah! 34. Hah! Almost forgot my own age there.
Interviewer: Third question, what is your Gender?
Chris: Heh? That an insult?!
Interviewer: Just answer the question now Mr. Walker.
Chris: Well Society states that I am a male, I guess…
Interviewer: Fourth now, what is your Species?
Chris: Eh?! Species?! Really? That’s in there? Let me see that!
Interviewer: Mr. Walker! Would you stop grabbing my clipboard and answer the question!
Chris: Well I think ya’ed be able to answer that question your self, don’t ya think? I’m human, ‘kay? Not like there are any other species like us. Heh!
Interviewer: Well then it’s obvious that you haven’t seen much of the world. For the fifth question, your Appearance. How would you describe your Appearance?
Chris: Huh? Well I guess I’m pretty handsome, I have light brown, blondish hair. Probably reach past my ears if it was straightened, but it’s normally very messy. Don’t really matter much cause I just wear my straw farmer hat that Nana gave me long ‘go. Go dark blue eyes, like my Grandpap says Nana and I got his nose too. Nana also says I have a pretty round face, guess I never really grew out my fatty cheeks. Heh. Uh…as for body type, I’m pretty muscular, but that’s from all the farm work back home. I’m kinda tan too, but not too much really. I like keeping up my light skin color. I’m about 5’9” height wise, just an eighth off from being 6’0”. It’s an average height, but I’m tall compared to my family.
Now for clothing wise, I usually just wear a pair of light colored louse jeans, I like wearing sneakers and since I always wear boot on the farm I’m really going to avoid that. I also just usually wear any kind of louse short sleeve shirt all year round, when it gets really hot I normally end up taking off my shirt and when it gets chilly I usually just put on a rough leather vest or a jean/leather jacket. It normally doesn’t get cold where I live so I never really need anything warmer then that for cold days. Most of the colors I wear too are normally warm colors. I like to keep a happy and warm feeling in the cloths I wear. Heh, now I’m sounding like a girl aren’t I? Not much more to say really. Just a normal American Ranch boy!
Interviewer: Very well then, a descent description. Could be better though.
Chris: Question! If yer looking right at me, then why couldn’t you write yer own description of me?
Interviewer: It is mandatory that you are the one to answer all these questions in the Survey, do you understand?
Chris: Yeah yeah. Well what’s the next question then?
Interviewer: The sixth question, what is your Personality?
Chris: My Personality? Well….um….I like taking care of Pokemon. I guess I can be pretty nurturing to others, Nana says that I have a strong “Mothers Tuition,” but I don’t know if that’s good to have or not. Well I guess I don’t mind it really, Cash really likes that about me so I’m pretty fine with it…..I’m also very patient, I won’t get angry very quickly or get frustrated over something easily, I like staying calm after all, and it gives a calming feeling to others too. Like Pokemon! But I’m pretty childish when it comes to games, I get very competitive and I won’t some thinking about it either, and I’m always a really happy kid. But hey! I’m pretty lucky to have such a great life after and all the people around me are pretty happy too!....Oh and I can be pretty random sometimes and off topic I guess…
What else about me...Oh yeah, I really enjoy learning, I guess its cause living on a Ranch won't always allow you the greatest education when your working on taking care of all the Pokemon living in the Ranch, right. I also really like Pokemon Battling, but I guess I'm not the only one, me, Cash, and Yue would practice and battle with each other all the time and get better, also Yue was always really good at teaching, not just me but our Pokemon on moves that they can't learn on their own. It's very lucky having her around as we journeyed around. I bet she's still teaching her Pokemon new moves every now and then to make them so much stronger.
Oh! I also really like to make new friends as I travel, well more like Love to! And I always keep in touch with everyone by mail, especially since I don't carry a cell phone with me. Just don't have them money too to buy one sadly but I still enjoy writing letters to everyone. It usually doesn't take that long to get to them either.
Um, I think that's about it on my Personality.
Interviewer: Now for the last question, in detail please give me your History, and don’t leave out any information related to this topic.
Chris: My History? Like the story of my life or something? Isn’t that a little to personal? I don’t think I really want to share the information to a stranger.
Interviewer: Mr. Walker, if you truly wish to enter the Sasqui Region then you must answer every question, and this one in d-e-t-a-i-l. Now, will you continue the Survey?
Chris: Yeah yeah. Just give me a sec for me to think about it, there’s a lot to say, just promise me one thing! Don’t go goin’ all “sentimental” about it, ‘kay?
Interviewer: Just carry on Mr. Walker…
Chris: Alright, well first off, my real mama, Julie, was only 15 when she had me and her boyfriend ditched her when he heard the news. She couldn’t kill me (Abortion), but her parents wouldn’t agree on putting me up for adoption. On the other hand all were just two busy with their own life, Julie still had a lot more years of school, and both Rob and Marian had fulltime jobs. No time or money for taking care of another kid. In the end after a long time fighting, they all agreed to take me to live with Rob’s parents back at their farm. It was the smartest thing to do and I have nothing to argue with them. I love living with Grandpap and Nana.
Well, that 35 years ago, and the story don’t end there, Gandpap and Nana like on a Ranch. And on that Ranch they care for Taurose, Ponytas, and a few Rapidashes, bunch of Mareeps and Milktanks. They make a lot of money from the milk, cotton, and electricity they get from the Mareeps and Milktanks. The Ponytas and Taurose lived on the lands before it was made into a Ranch so they ended up staying and to taken care of too. Nana says that they are a pleasure to have. Having all them here and all the years living here I have learned how to take care of each kind to the bests of my abilities. So I'm really good and at caring for Pokemon I guess.
Oh and out of the herd, there is one different from the rest that's most special to me, a Taurose that's the wildest from the rest. Never really could tame him, but that's what makes him so special from me. Strange thing about that guy though is that we always had a good connection, don't really know why but I have a feeling that it has something to do with our family relationship.
Interviewer: I'm sorry to interrupt you, but do you have any other information with you interacting with other people or reasons as to why you are coming here?
Chris: Jeshe, sorry that my life story was boring you…
Interviewer: Eh hem!
Chris: Alright! Well…it first stared when I found a Turtwig attacking one of our Ponytas, at the time it was started by the site of the flames on its back, I eventually got it to stop attacking after I got some of his beating from his Razor Leaf, it really hurt too. Anyway I took him in, and he started to like the place aside from the Ponytas and Rapidashes, he settled in and became a permanent member of the family. I even game him a name Lyuben, because I felt like he was the one Pokemon that I would always love and always be best of friends, even today.
Interviewer: Is that so, so then your taking him with you to the Sasqui Region?
Chris: Well no…I thought that it would be best to leave him there where he is most comfortable, he’s not the traveling type so when I go off to visit members of my family or friends he always stays that the Ranch with Nana and Grandpap. It’s the logical reason after all but this way I know that he’s always in good hands…well as I was saying in the, before Lyuben and I became to the point of such great friendship an even happened that really changed my life. Heh, sound kind of weird now, don’t I, but it really was true. Well it started when I first spotted a woman that was completely white and somewhat angelic, I thought she was a ghost for a while, she was just wondering through the Ranch aimlessly. She looked rather foreign too like from somewhere really cold with her cloths all covered in fur. She suddenly went up to a Ponyta, I didn’t know why and I started to approach them two and then I discovered that the Ponyta ended up being injured, and that the strange woman was helping him get bandaged up. Well of course I pop in and finished the job and we started talking, her name was Yue, she’s actually the reason why I’m going to Sasqui, to visit her Gym and maybe battle her too. Anyway, she was traveling with another girl name Cash and told be all about her. Cash was the person that picked up Yue from Artic lands and started traveling together. It was because of her that Yue became so interested in training Pokemon, same as me, she got me first interested when we first met.
We first met shortly after Yue and I was interrupted from talking by a herd of Taurose charging away from some shock that was most likely a fire, then we heard Lyuben’s distressed cry from the same area that all the Taurose came from. We ran towards it and I found Lyuben fighting off a Quilava, it was amazing how Lyuben dodged all its fire moves and striked back with Razor Leaf. I think it was Lyuben’s fear of fire Pokemon that was causing the fight and I didn’t want to get in the middle of it.
Yue started yelling angrily at the Quilava telling him to stop but the two kept fighting, Yue sent out her Squirtle to help ward off the Quilava, but before the Squirtle could another woman came running towards the Quilava and calling it to stop, I remember her saying “Eco, diminish now!” I thought it was weird what she said but it actually stopped the Quilava from fighting, but Lyuben still had his guard up never trusting a fire type Pokemon. The woman then picked up the Quilava from the ground and curled him around her neck like a boa and from then on he was calm. Lyuben was still stressed out. The girl with the Quilava wrapped around her neck ended up being Cash that Yue was telling me before.
The two girls stayed at the Ranch for about three weeks and a half working at the Ranch. It was to get experience of a Ranchers life, something about being in Cash’s bucket list, and once they were done working they would leave, but just before they did Lyuben and Eco, Cash’s Quilava got into another fight, but this time Eco didn’t want to fight so he just took in all the attacks, I tried stopping Lyuben like other times but nothing worked, it didn’t calm Lyuben down nor changed his mind about attacking Eco. Yue was about to send out her Squirtle, Finni, but that would just cause more fighting in the end.
As the two were fighting a sudden fire started in the fields, its normal when the grass is so dry but we had to stop it quick. We all went rushing to the fire, all of us including Eco and Lyuben. Yue then sent out Finni to water down the fire, Lyuben used his head to shovel dirt into the fire to make it die quicker, and when Eco saw what Lyuben was doing he did the most creative thing ever, he began digging a hole by the fire and then from the hole he shoved out all the dirt he could. After the fire was out, the funny thing is, Lyuben began admiring Eco’s way of thought, and you know, I guess they mingled and became good friends. On the day the two girls were just about to leave they invited me to come along, and with Lyuben now cooperating with fire Pokemon more I thought why not. Also I think Lyuben would enjoy the journey and learn how to fight more. We all had a great time and learned to become good trainers too. Three years later we all went back to our homes: Lyuben is now a fully-grown Torterra, Finni also evolved into a Wartortle and as for Eco, well he kind of just stayed the same, just bigger.
As for my reason of coming, I recently received a letter from Yue that she was becoming a Gym Leader in Shirotokai City, she wanted to visit her and see her accomplishment in the trainer world and that brings us to here.
Interviewer: Very well then, now just one more question, its really a question that I wanted to ask myself. May I Mr. Walker?
Chris: Um…..sure?
Interviewer: Now, if you lived most of your life in the southern countryside on a ranch, why do you not have a southern accent?
Chris: Um, that’s actually a good question. I guess because I don’t always stay with Nana and Gandpap, ever since I turned 15 I would visit Julia a lot, she’s living on her on married and has another kid by then, my little half sister actually. And because she actually enjoyed me visiting her as a nephew, to her house I would visit her many times for long time periods on top of that I traveled a few times with Cash and Yue, they have a lot of money so they are able to pay for most of my traveling. Cash is even paying for my trip to Sasqui. But mostly from being at Julies home for a vary long time which is way up north, I guess I lost my accent over time. Yue also taught me grammar; it angered her that I haven’t been speaking very “correctly.” Something about proper edacity and all, of curse Cash doesn’t care about my grammar really. Most of her friends speak right purposely. But I’m fine, Yue’s lessons were rather interesting really, I actually had a lot of fun doing it.
Interviewer: That’s it?
Chris: Yep! That’s it!
Interviewer: All right, well I’m almost filling this in, one I’m done I’ll send the application to the administrators for their approval.
Chris: ‘Kay, that’s cool.
Interviewer: Now, is there any thing else you would like to say?
Chris: Um, yeah, there is actually…COFFEE FOR EVERYONE! HAHAHA HA…HA…....HA…HA…….HA………….HA!
Interviewer:………….Well, you can leave now……have a good day Mr…..Walker…..
He will also go around with a Hot Dog stand through his whole journey. Don’t ask.
