Cheers within the crown told of a great event that was well on its way. The MC of the contest stood forward to make her announcement, "Now making her pokemon contest debut, it’s Rosalie from Sunny shore city."
A girl of ten stood forward to take the stage. Her baby blue dress gentle blew in the wind. Taking a deep sigh, she removes the hair from her face while holding tightly to a poke ball. Opening her eyes slowly she called outwards to the crowd, "Charmander, its show time!" and she tossed the ball.
The crowd was showered in sparkles as the Lizzard pokemon happily appeared from its poke ball and swiftly landed to its feet. Rose leaned forward into the stage, "Alright Charmander Flamethrower!" she commanded the pokemon. Charmander leapt into the air just as swiftly and began to spin into the air as a jet of Flame flew from its Muzzle. Fire collided with the already existing sparkles and fanned out, causing a true magnifigant display in the sky. The crowd went absolutely nuts as Rose and Charmander waved to the on looking crowd.
The contest MC stepped over to speak, but when she opened her mouth a loud buzzer came out instead of words.
When rose finally came out o the dream, she awoke to the time smack down on her face. The alarm clock read, 8:45. She screamed, "Ah I’m late!" She rolled out of the bed and grabbed the clothes on the end of her bed, which was placed there the night before. "I cannot believe I slept through my alarm again, and on an important day like today." She scowled.
Rose quickly straightened her long silky red hair and brushed her teeth. Her mother's glaceon had already chosen a bow for her to wear that day. Taking the ribbon from the pokemon she said, "thanks glaceon, your a life saver." she looked around, "Oh shoot where is my backpack." Glaceon was already off to look for it.
When she was finally ready glaceon returned with her backpack. It placed it on the floor next to Rose. Rose thanked her with a pat on its head and she ran through the door and past her mother who held a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Hastily she grabbed it on her way out. She mounted her bike and headed off towards the professors lab.
