Dmitriy stepped into the shop, looking around at all the dolls and things for houses and camps. He didn't need any of that. He made his way farther to the back, picking out 4 Luxury Balls, 2 Smoke Balls, an Itemfinder and a Soothe Bell. All of these seemed like smart choices, but when he passed the Charizard Doll, he had to force himself to keep going. He loved Charizards, and Bane wasn't helping much by jumping on it and playing with it. When he got to the desk, he payed his 95 steps before asking for a Tea. When he got it he payed the last 5 steps to make it an even number. Sipping at the warm liquid, he walked over to his Charmander who was perched on the large doll's head. Laughing, he said, <Bane I don't think you're supposed to play with it here. Besides, how would we carry that along with us places?> The charmander shrugged, bouncing and laughing as the head bounced, <I'm just having fun. The carnival's almost over anyways.>

Ardeo sauntered in, swiping ten Luxary Balls, an Item Finder and a Battle Searcher, handing 145 Steps to the clerk and throwing them happily into his Bag. "Should take awhile to run out now, eh Tak?" he said with a smile. But Tak wasn't at his side, he had wandered right over to the giant Charizard plush and was grinning at Bane, ~Hey!~

Bane quickly bounced off the Charizard's head, landing on four legs next to Tak. <I bet I become a Charizard quicker than you.> She said, grinning at the challenge. She didn't know how long it would take them to meet up again, but she was determined to be a high level for that, after all they were the same. She was just a little behind on her leveling in comparison, being level 6 and him being level 13. But she was sure she could still beat him if she worked hard enough after this carnival.
Dmitriy waved at Ardeo and walked to him, standing next to him to watch his Charmander. "You gave me your number last time, here's mine." He said, taking out a piece of paper as well, but with the number already scrawled on it. He had been expecting to meet up again to hand it over anyways, "I have a feeling we need to meet up again. Soon. I don't want to hear Bane complaining the entire trip."

Tak blinked, and then puffed out his chest at the challenge. ~Heh, no way. I'll get there first. I'm only a few levels away from being a Charmeleon anyway. There's no way you can catch up.~ he stuck out his tonge.
Ardeo snickered, "After what I'm hearing, they're going to want regular progress reports on eachother." he said, shaking his head and pocketing the number. "Charmanders must be competitive by nature. Besides, we still need that battle." he looked over, determined to remember he wanted to battle Dmitriy.

<Whatever. I'll catch up. I probably just started late than you.> She frowned, <Plus you're at a disadvantage since your trainer has so many other pokemon to try and train. Dmitriy only has three.> She stuck her own tongue out.
"Hopefully by then I'll be trained up so it can be somewhat of an even challenge." Dmitriy laughed, "We're kinda.. behind you a bit. But I got a Typlosion, that should help. Don't think Kiz'd be any help if you have a knack to collect fire types like I do."

Luke walked into the shop; it was on his way out of the festival, and he figured he might as well get some souvenirs that weren't pokemon...after all, the stuff they sold here was different than the mart back in Sasqui. Curious, he walked along the shelves, studying some of the stranger objects they had there. He'd recognized the other two guys on his way in, but didn't want to interrupt them. Noticing a large Blastoise plushy at the end of the aisle, he stopped in front of it and chuckled in spite of himself. It definitely wasn't the pokemon he'd expected himself to morph into, but it was respectable enough. In the end, he took 5 Luxury Balls, a Pokeflute, a Soothe Bell, and a cup of jasmine tea up to the counter. Might as well get some, so long as he didn't spill it all over himself...the aroma was too nice for him to resist. Handing over 85 steps, he placed everything inside of his bag carefully, the little bell ringing softly as he did so. That'd be good for Shaoran, probably. Taraji was already calm enough, and the Entei didn't know Luke very well to begin with. Taking a small sip of his tea, Luke burned his tongue a bit but didn't pay it any mind as he left the store, preparing himself for route 1.

~Bah. I'm the one out most of the time. Next time you see me, I'll be really tall and have wings.~ he said with a firm nod, casting a look over at the plush with a faint sparkle in his eyes. Oh the gift of flight would be a wonderful thing. He could carry Ardeo instead of the other way around.
"Haha. We'll, let's not forget I started first. By the time we meet, I'm sure you'll be ready for a good six on six match. Or lower, if you'd prefer. I just like long battles. Hehe." he scratched the back of his head and smiled.

Bane crossed her arms. Aw. I hope I see you before that.> She said sincerely, then winked, <You might be fast in leveling, but not that fast.>
Dmitriy shrugged, "I hope I have enough pokemon for that by then. My time has been pretty rough finding decent pokemon to add to my party." Silently he cursed whatever force was giving him such bad luck, and hoped for further luck in the future.
((Haha Kai you've been cursed at. >3))

~Well, then, at least the next time you see me I'll be a Charmeleon.~ he said, waving a claw, ~And I guess it depends on when we meet up next...Hopefully there will be another Carnival soon!~
"Ahahaha!" Ardeo patted Dmitriy, "Sometimes, the harder they are to train the better they'll be when they Evolve." he said with a nod, feeling a moment of sage-like wisdom.

She thought about this, <I don't think these happen very of then. Maybe our trainers will catch up to each other soon. And I'll be sure I'm not a Charmander by then either.> She said, grinning.
Dmitriy shook his head, "I guess it's worth it. I have a neat pokemon following me because he wants to see if I can train his Budew friend. She's irritating though, so I don't know if there are more pros than cons or not."

Tak glowered at the floor, ~Ardeo has horrible luck when traveling.~ he muttered, ~Your Trainer will have to catch up to us in this instance...~ he murmured, shaking his head slowly.
Ardeo nodded, "A Stalker Pokemon, huh? Interesting. And, hey, Budew might be hard to handle- but Roserades are pretty strong. Not that manly, but darn strong. Remember to train her in the sunlight...And keep her happy." he gave a helpful smile, glad to be of service.

Bane laughed, <Dmitriy'll end up going backwards soon anyways. He's leaving so much behind, I can tell based on stuff he says to me he wants to go back.> She didn't say any more, not wanting to bore him if he didn't want to know.
"Really? Sunlight? Happy? I thought it was just leveling that got them to evolve. What exactly do I need to get her to do so?" He asked, feeling excited that he might not actually have to train her all the way.

~Huh? "Back"?~ he asked, perking with curiousity. Back where, to what? And why? Though, Tak had to admit, it would be nice to see the Lab again...All his old Charmander chums.
Ardeo blinked, "You didn't check your 'Dex?" he asked, smiling with amusement, "Not all Pokemon need brute training to Evolve. Some Pokemon are like the Eevee, and need an item. Or, the sun or moon. Budew is a plant, so that's why she needs sunlight and love." he nodded, "You just have to pwn a few Pokemon in the daytime, I'm sure she'll Evolve in no time." he grinned, "My mom used to love Roserades. Never could find a Budew or a Roselia, though."

<As in the other direction. He's not very far from his lab anyways, and who knows, maybe when you go back and your trainer goes back, it might be better for Dmitriy to retrace his steps and find time. If you guys started in Sasqui City, you're probably behind us.> She stated, nodding.
"Well that's awesome. And no, I don't even know how to work my Pokedex. Haven't gotten to use it once.. Well.. maybe once, but that was when the Cranidos that follows me, the one I told you about earlier, showed me something. Embarrassing, huh? He figured it out and I have no clue how to do it." He stated bluntly, feeling really relieved he didn't have to train the Budew as much as he'd thought. Thinking about any other questions he had, he spoke up again,"And when do Charmanders evolve, anyways?"
